    Salior Moon Poll

Sure the movie have just shown.

But we all still want Sailor Moon and the Scouts back on CN! Do you think?

Before those Powerpuff arrived, the Sailor Soldiers were Cartoon Network's first heroines, and their first big hit before DBZ.

All I want is Serena/Usagi to return after a long, long hiatus. I like more variety on CN, and I miss them very, very, much.

    So what do you say...

There is one more season, but it would be difficult to edit--it's by far the most *violent* Sailor Moon season of them all, and then there's the gender bending thing...

I've never really cared for Sailor Moon, so I honestly don't care what they do with it.

I suspect there's a "Want" missing from your post heading.

    Sailor Moon

When Sailor Moon was taken off of Cartoon Network in July of 2002 I felt , then, then, then, and then. I was ready to watch it one day and BAM there was Ed, Edd, and Eddy running around on my TV. (Impossible)So I waited, and waited, and waited for two whole years and guess what still no Sailor Moon on Toonami or even plain Cartoon Network. It's ashame because I just started getting into it. Luckily I looked at my library and Blockbuster video and they had a few episodes of Sailor Moon. I rented three from the library but they were episodes I saw already. I got to see the first twelve episodes again. Great but that's all they had. SO THE ONLY WAY TO SEE THE REST OF THE SERIES IS FOR IT TO BE BACK ON THE CARTOON NETWORK. Sadly it might not happen again since Cartoon Networks rights to the show expired recently I believe. So lets hope they reperchase them and actually show them too. Otherwise I'll have to send the Mooninites to Cartoon Network to change their minds.

Even I know better than to bring back a thread this old.

Since this thread will be closed shortly I should make the most of it. Sailor Moon is not comming back to CN, the rights are gone not only to the network but also the distrubutors.

Generally the rule is to not bring back an old thread unless you have something worthwhile to add to the thread.

    Since it's here...

Well I'd like to see Sailor Moon back on CN, it was a fun show that appealed to many, but mainly brought in girl viewers I'm assuming, but the reasons Dalek gave are probably why it won't. And that's unfortunate, because even though it wasn't the best thing.. it wasn't really a dated show (by look anyway), so it would probably still be popular if it ever got televised again..

You could always buy the DVD boxsets. Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, and SuperS are all available uncut(though one episode is missing from R).

Being that the animation world now has to revolve around card games and faux anime i highly doubt sailormoon will ever see the light of day on toonami again its unfortunate but i still have a little hope for it look at speed racer it was quite old and it aired on cn and still has popularity today so theres always a chance for a return in some form or another.

    Speed Racer

Yeah, they just recently released the first thirteen episodes of Speed Racer on DVD. I rented it and they also have they second set out too. That's a good sign. Is it even possible for the Distributer and some Network to buy the rights again?

Only if Toei is selling, which they're currently not.

    Re: Salior Moon Poll

I would love to see Sailor Moon come back, but after the "Ed, Edd, and Eddy" fiasco, I'd think it would be better off on another network (like DIC Kids perhaps, if Toei would even allow DIC to renew its license, and allow them to use its Cloverway episodes).

    Bring back Sailor Moon!

I would Love to see Sailor Moon back on Toonami. After all it is my favorite show! It was a great show that taught virtues of thing like love, friendship, and caring. I also wish they would dub the Stars Season and put that on Toonami. I think thats every Sailor Moon fans dream!

I want Sailor Moon back, but I want it dubbed right this time. It wasn't as bad after the first two seasons, but it was still cut up too much for my liking.

Yuyu Hakusho on CN @ 4:30 AM on Saturdays(CST). Don't miss it!

Sailor Moon is dead in America. Airing episodes now would just be beating the dead horse, especially since Toei will never let episodes of Stars out here.

(Supposedly, Stars is a shame to the manga version, so it may not be such a bad thing)
