    New Year's Eve-il Poll Problem

    Like This Thread!
I just came by the Toonami.com New Year's Eve-il villian poll, and I found something wrong:

    NO SAILOR MOON BAD GUYS!

All Tom ever cared about is nothing but guys! Those SM villians (Mimet and Eduial are my personal favorites) in my opinion, are the BEST Toonami evil-doers.

By the way, Gundam Wing's Zech Mercqiuze, one of the guys in the poll, is NOT a villian, just a poorly misguided son of a gun who was tormented by the show's true villian, war.

Due to the complete lack of Sailor Moon villains there may be issues at hand such as rights to the television series. Tom does care about more than just guys. Toonami just finished showing all three Sailor Moon movies and their are female villains listed.

    New Year's Eve-il

Why aren't ALL of Cartoon Network/Toonami's villains represented on the "New Year's Eve-il" poll? "PPG" was part of "Toonami" once, and it's got some pretty cool (and weird!) villains!

    Power Puffs in the poll?

It's possible...though would Mojo take kindly to his typecasting as a bad guy? As he might say, "I do not consider myself a villain in the strictest cardboard two-dimensinal sense, but rather a long-suffering individual whose bitter life experiences have skewed his moral compass and driven him to no other recourse besides depravity. If you wish to see a villain, go speak to that blowhard Him, or that overgrown selfish oaf Fuzzy, or even those adolescent reprobrates the Gangrenes. Now leave me be!"

How about Char Aznable of Gundam? Not really a villain, either, just placed in that position by virtue of his politics.

I'm not sure he'd have any objection. Remember this quote from 'Los Dos Mojos', announced in a loud bragging tone:

"I am bad, I am evil, I am MOJO JOJO!!!"

Tho I don't doubt that 'bitter life experiences' contributed to making him so- to judge from his size in the 'Mr. Mojo's Rising' flashbacks, he was no more than three years old when he left the Utoniums, and has apparently been alone ever since. As Jane Goodall has pointed out, chimps are highly social creatures that invariably go insane when socially isolated.

I think Bubbles is right; inside, Mojo is "a sad little monkey."*

    * At least she's right about the *sad* part- strictly speaking, a chimpanzee is an ape, rather than a monkey. The difference being: apes are larger, have bigger brains, and lack tails.

    And Another Thing:

What on earth is Bizarro doing on the Villains poll? That musclebound blockhead is no bad guy; just a well-meaning misfit in need of guidance.

Heh...New Year's Eve-il with the Amoeba Boys. Oooooh, scary.

Maybe it depends on whether the bad guy is (A) strongly Toonami affiliated (PPG villains don't really fit into that category, most people think of them as Cartoon Cartoons rather than Toonami) and (B) has lots of eps. for them to show. Aren't they going to show some eps. of whoever wins? Or did I just make that up?

There is no way they could show eight episodes of some of the villains listed so likely they will show multiple villains. Maybe it will be some sort of countdown.

Sure, the choices may not be perfect, but at least we get to vote. This is a huge step up from just showing 4 hours of DBZ.

What if Raditz, Buu or the Androids win?

    Yikes!

If any of the DBZ villians win, then you can kiss your "variety" flavor goodbye!
