    CN's "mature" block=Toonami's salvation?

Gee that sounds uncomfortable to say.

Anyhow, do you think that if CN where to make a mature block where they aired their more "grown up toons" (perhaps some uncut anime) would we see some of the dead toonami shows on there? You know Outlaw Star, GundamW (again LOL), Big O, and others?

I would think so. The Cartoon Network execs are smarter than those at FoxKids or KidsWB!, I'm sure. Not to mention I'm remaining optimistic, myself! I'm sure they know if they unedited and uncut (AKA: FIXED! ) their anime, not only could they have more of their shows back on the air, just at a later time, but they could get more ratings. Especially if they make sure to advertise it properly and to the right people.

I've never heard why the shows were taken off in the first place? Was it fallout from this Kellner guy?

I think that's what they've been doing with Toonami Midnight Run. You're never going to see anything *too* uncut on CN. It is, after all, a Turner Network.

You could say that, I suppose. Since he moved over, he wanted Toonami to be spread over two channels and cross promote them. Doing this, he'd have to cut off an hour to make the Kids'WB! afternoon Toonami block work. And doing som he wants Toonami to have a space free so he can occasionaly bring over Kids'WB! "action" shows to cross promote. Doing this, he got rid of Sailor Moon, Big O, Gundam. Some of these will return, in non-Toonami form, but some won't. Some may go to the Midnight Run, some won't. Thank Kellner for this.
