Dragonball GT "Universal Allies" Talkback (SPOILERS)

2nd to last episode of the entire DB saga!

Since the DBGT talkback seems to be more of a "toss-up" talkback in recent weeks, with them not being posted until five minutes AFTER the episode begins, I figured I'd get a jump on it and post it a little early

Last time on Dragonball GT:

SSJ4 Gogeta was about to deal the final blow to Omega Shenron, but suddenly, the fusion wore off. Worse of all, Goku lost his SSJ4 powers and reverted back to normal! With Omega Shenron about to deal the final blow, the four-star Dragonball appears embedded in Goku's forehead. Upon taking it out, Nuova Shenron appeared. At first, he appeared to be fighting on the side of Omega Shenron, but right before dealing the final blow to Goku, he turns against Omega and traps him in a giant fire sphere. After a massive explosion, everyone thinks that Omega Shenron has been defeated, but instead, Omega stole Nuova's body to survive the attack, killing Nuova in the process. With Goku as a child, and Vegeta weakened, how will they defeat the final Shadow Dragon?

There was a rumor that they might be trying to figure out how 64 is going to air, you know, because of the special compilation ending and all.

SPIRIT BOMB'D

So, this Spirit Bomb makes him, like, freakin' invincible? One of those blasts should kill him in this state.

I am so glad they didnt waste 25 gazillion episodes with Goku making a spirit bomb like in the Frieza saga

This is not the final episode of GT. There's one more episode left after this, but they probably won't be showing it until after the Lost Episodes.

Looks like it's time for Goku to save the day with a spirit bomb from everyone's energy... sounds familiar... oh wait.. the whole universe is pitching in this time.. my mistake.

Edit: The Frieza and Buu spirit bombs were more impressive, and they weren't even as filled with energy as this one..


Edit edit: Considering how slow the spirit bomb descended, why didn't Omega just...I don't know...FLY OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE IT HIT HIM.

I fear for the Bon Para Bros episode after hearing that little bit >_<

The Freeza battle was ridiculously long because it was supposed to be the original ending.

And with that, DB's final villain is destroyed. It's been a long journey boys and girls.

Okay...by Dbz logic...which holds no ground in GT apparently. Goku should have been disentigrated by omega's blast. Next thing.....every blast omega used should have taken goku out. It makes absolutley no sense other than Goku being one big deus ex machina. I can't wait until this series is over so I can rip it apart in one big long post. Gosh love durms.

One more gripe...the ball should have been big as the planet if you want to get technical.

Now all we need after GT ends is the DBZ redub and the rest of the movies, and we'll have seen all of DB on Toonami.

Man, I've been watching a Dragonball related series on Cartoon Network for over 7 years. It sure as hell doesn't feel like it.

The only Goku moment I liked was him rising from the grave with a big (but not as big as the Buu Saga or Namek Saga) Spirit Bomb.

Any other good moments were by Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, or Goten.
