Yu Yu Hakusho "Spirit Detective Showdown" Talkback(Spoilers)

Season Two of Yu Yu Hakusho continues. We are finally realised to the truth, Sensui has appeared. With him, the Seven. Though this is only a warm up truth. Motives play part, let's see where it fleshes out and how. This is the official Talkback thread for the Yu Yu Hakusho episode "Spirit Detectove Showdown" airing on Toonami December 11th at 9.5 PM (8.5 Central). However gruesome and painfully addictive in sight, don't let that stop you from commenting on this episode!

Last week the macabre level was turned up quite a bit as many things were realized. For starters Gourmet himself was killed to display the very beggining of Kurama's unremorseful strike. Following was Elder Toguro's freaky come back, explaining in detail how he drove Gourmet to his tasty anxiety. More importantly how he ate Murota, The Reader, whole and in one serving. Muffling screams of terror and pain included. Kurama then confronted Toguro and further displayed his assault leading Toguro to believe over and over and over again he was killing the fox demon. And this would continue to happen. As it was also revealed that Kurama had damned the immortal demon to the Tree of Depravety, in which he will suffer for an eternity. Now with without further distractions, Yusuke prepares to do what he does best. Kick some ass. But is he ready? Does this headstrong teen and the others have what it takes to tackle Dark Angel and Gatekeeper? Watch and find out! ONLY Toonami.

Okay, so the Reikai Tantei have defeated everyone of the Sensui 7 in there way of facing Sensui aside from Itsuki, but as already stated by Mitari, Itsuki isn't a fighter. So that means the final fated confrontation between two of the three Reikai Tantei to only exist will finally meet each other in a head to head serious fight. One which neither can run away. However, last time showed that Yuusuke's Reikohadouken fighting style has nothing Sensui's Resshuu Ken style. So how can Yuusuke make the neccessary adaptions to beat Sensui? What's worse, is Yuusuke has only seen two of many moves in Sensui's arsenal, while Sensui has seen all of Yuusuke up-to-date ones. The odds aren't in favor of the Reikai Tantei. With less than 30 minutes left to close the Makai no Tobira, how will Yuusuke beat Sensui, the strongest of all his opponents. And I said Itsuki doesn't fight, that doesn't mean he can't do other things, such as summon the Ura Otoko! One things for sure, a great battle is coming, alongside some great character development amongst all 6 remanining fighters in this fight.

so Sensui was built up as this all super demon killer wth no mercy (until he snapped) and now we find out he made friends with one don't know how I feel about that except they are forcefeeding us "enemy sensitivity" while Sensui is still alive unlike what they did with Toguro and the giant face on the wall is freaky and CN should use the swallowing part for an original scene transition hehe

Yeah, but those episodes are even marketted as "As seen on Cartoon Network", so they're editting them to the BS&P's standards, and then deciding to sell those BS&P friendly versions.

Sheesh, I understand if they were apprehensive about Itsuki's use of the word "lover", but they could have still kept his character intact.

That's my guess, but after the episodes edited on DVD are over, then they can rely on CN's BS&P instead of their own standards for edited DVDs. Whether that will let them loosen up remains to be seen.
