He let Pan escape... stupid dragon! I guess the writers couldn't find any other way out. Don't they plan ahead with this show?

You have to admit though, Goku grabbing Pan to save her at the end was unexpected and well done.

Pan...a young beauty?!? You've got to be kidding me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Pan is ugly, but saying that she's beautiful is stretching it a bit. I mean, come on now. The girl looks like she's 8-10 years old.
But back to the episode, I was rooting for Pan to die. Once again the writers attempt to make Pan more interesting and make it seem like she's such a strong girl and once again, they've failed. Hell if Goku won't blow Pan and that dragon to bits, I sure as hell will
Gohan and Videl don't do much of anything in this episode, except sat there and be useless. If they were worried so much about Pan, why didn't they go after her or something.
The ending was a cop-out as well. Damn, how long is it until Vegeta and the others get some more screentime?
