Rave Master "A Bite To Eat" TALKBACK (Spoilers)

Anyway, this is the first episode I've watched since like...episode 3, so I'll see how this goes.

Anyway, am I the only one who likes the opening theme song?

Synopsis:

Elie has found transportation for the group -- an unusual chariot being driven by the quirky little creature Griff. The group heads north to where Old Musica saw a shooting star. He believes it may have been a Rave Stone that was scattered in the Overdrive explosion 50 years earlier. When Elie takes Plue to a hot springs, Plue becomes deflated. Griff thinks the only cure might be a certain berry that con be found in a nearby valley. Elie goes off on her own to find the berries but ends up tormented by a huge monster. Haru shows up and saves her.

LOL.. So we finally get to meet Griff, i was wonder when we'd run into him.. So he used to be a weatherman eh.. :anime:

I hate the opening except for the "Quuuueeest for glory! etc. etc. This is our hero's story! etc. etc." part for some reason.



This blue eggplant thing is freaking me out.

Plue got deflated...and they were going to stuff him with cheese? o.O



This is the weirdest show I've ever seen. They're planting Plue in the ground!?

Plue deflated looks really nasty.. I can't stand looking at him like that.. I thought they were going to rip him in two for a second. I did enjoy Elie's theory of planting Plue in the ground, or Haru wanting to pump him up with air.

I think the Rave stone has something to do with helping Plue since they've focused on the sword a couple of times already..

This week's ep. was hilarious. One of the best ep.'s of Rave Master that I have seen in my opinion.

A Bite to Eat,sounds like a filler. Heh "I'll put him on auto.". Heh "Now here is Jonny with the news.". Lucky Pule in the spa with Ellie. Heh filler Pule with air. A song in the middle of the show. I haven't seen that on here. It looks like Bowser is going to kill Ellie. She inseals his trust of her life on a vine. I wouldn't trust that. He is going to kill her with "BAD BREATH ATTACK!". We find out Haru can rip his shirt with his teeth. Lucky blue thing got to see Ellie. How dare he! I'm still liking the Rave-a-long. And still liking the ending with Haru holding the two swords.

Boy did I pick the right episode to start watching, an Ellie episode topped off with a very cool insert song

The faces Haru kept making were really funny. That was strange, when Elie blamed Haru about twisting it's nose, and he told her not to do it. When it shrivelled up I also thought it had something to do with it's nose being twisted, but it was the Hot Springs all along.

When Elie went looking for the atsuno strawberry, the song that started playing was great. It was funny because when the eyes of that huge monster was glowing, I thought it was going to be an evil savage kind of monster, but it turned out to be a slightly evil monster with a few jokes.

When Haru used his Rave-o-lution it looked like he was going to slash it, but he slashed a rock instead xD. I should have known, since the monster didn't really seem that harmful. Great episode this week. =]

This was a pretty good episode of Rave Masters. I didn't really get turned off at any point of it. It really was more Elie focused and they did a pretty good job with that, even with that decent song they had when she was running I think.

And of course they had the obligatory anime hot springs scene with Elie.. Not once but twice. I felt a little let down that it came out that the hot water did that to Plue.. He's sort of getting annoying now, he's been pretty useless.. Other than the Elie focus, the only other major thing was meeting Griff. I was wondering how long it was gonna be till we saw him, and now that's over with.. Guess they continue north now. I wonder how long we'll go before seeing Musica again.. Looks like they keep randomly alternating the endings.. Rave-a-long for this one.

I don't know why I still watch this show.... meh, the manga is so much better.

Seems they cut out Griff's obsession with Ellie... Or at least they're trying to.. (oh, plue shriveled. *blush* )

I kinda wish they be a little more serious with less one-liners, cuz most of them seemed so forced... alas, least the manga isn't this way.

I do give it props for the music bit in the middle. It was actually a *good* song.

Too many to count, really. But every one has a different power so it never gets old.

I don't know about losing a few brain cells but I just find this show fun to watch. The absurdity that happens in the show makes me laugh.
