Hopefully this will make up for most of SEED's faults.
is possibly Gundam SEED-Destiny. This information was found by Gundam Watch user 'darkhunger' (http://www.gundamwatch.com/invision/...showtopic=2817). With a title like thatSpoiler:

The Gundam tradition is new show = new main cast.

Yeah, but this is a direct sequel. And we haven't had one of those since ZZ.Originally Posted by Neo-Era

Endless Waltz is the sole exception.

Fullmetal Alchemist? I thought it was replacing Inuyasha...or am I behind?
Yeh, I though it that too in JAPAN of course.Originally Posted by Youko Recca

Inuyasha is on a different channel (TV Tokyo) and FMA replaced Seed to begin with.Originally Posted by Youko Recca
I knew about Fullmetal Alchemist already. I now don't get what the crap about Inuyasha was for. Atleast we now know when Seed 2 is coming also.
Cool.
I'm sure chracters from the first show will at least make cameo appearences, but we should expect a new protagonist--Gundam has never had consecutive series with the same main character(s). Granted, there is a first time for everything, but still.
I do hope Kira and certain others have supporting roles in the story, a bit more so than Amuro Ray got in Zeta Gundam. Time will tell.
This is airing in Japan in the fall, right?
I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson
Let's see...Fullmetal Alchemist is going on episode 37 so there is about technically 15 weeks left.
I'm betting they'll go the MSG route and have Murrue be the commander of the new White Base, with Kira as the main pilot and the newbie as his protegé.

Eh, Gundam SEED Destiny sounds kinda cheesy to me. I hope that the sequel features a new main cast, with the original cast in supporting roles. IMO, they isn't much more that can be done with them.
It'd be cool if Blue Cosmos took over the EA and made a full Natural/cooridnater war with a new cast trying to end it with the older characters helping
