Sorry to say that I picked Goku. I hate him, and it's not fair, but he would trash Yusuke (hope I spelled his tricky name right!). Why? Because he's Goku, of course. Fear his impossibly large muscles!

How about making it fair and say each player had the same power level as the other. Then it would be different. So if Yusuke and Goku were equal, and each were at they're most powerful state, I'd say Yusuke. Goku needs a transformation to pull a win out of his ass half the time, while Yusuke either needs luck or just some life draining move.

There are always "vs." threads that pop up from time to time and considering the characters are usually from different shows, it is rarely a good comparison. Heck, there was a Shobu vs. Yugi thread and they don't even play the same card game. At least in this case both characters are just duking it out. The threads are meant to be fun and nothing more. If you want to participate in this thread, do so. Otherwise, stay out of the thread.

Outside of silliness, which we have all engaged in at times, there is nothing inherently wrong with this topic. How is Krillen one of the strongest Z fighters? Wouldn't Trunks be stronger? And Koenma can't be stronger than Genkai.

Well, Dragonball went through a lot of evolution over the years. At the start Master Roshi held the top spot. So, where would the current Team Urameshi have felt at home? I'm thinking about the third martial arts tournament. Perhaps that's the Goku Yusuke should be matched with.
But the thing with even boy Goku is he learns way too fast to keep an upperhand for too long.

I think perhaps Teen Goku from the last tournament in DB vs Yusuke would be an exciting match.. See them go back and forth..

Then Yusuke would pull some crazy manuever and then Goku would answer back. There are possibilities to that one at least.
