It happened to be the only night that I did not tape AS due to me building a SEED model kit I got at the store and watching Gundam Wing. That is my luck...

I think they are doing that because they've noticed how often Gundam SEED has come up on the Adult Swim official forums. What hour did it air BTW? Durring Action?

Wow. That's got to be the slowest music they've ever used in any of they're promos. Nice promo, very serious feel to it. Had I never been told this series is very Wing-esque before the promo aired, I'd probably be able to deduce as much from the promo itself.

It certainly was gem such as the Wing promo from back in the day, but it was probably one of the best promos Toonami's aired in quite some time.

Glad to see they're (or seem to be) putting more effort into these promos. Back in the day the promos used to get me amped for an upcoming series, but recently the promos seemed to be too cliche and tossed together without the care older ones seemed to have been.

Thus far, I'm liking the new Toonami promos, the Bionicle Promo, and this Seed promo. All foreshadow good things, IMO.

Of course...I've been wrong before.

Jeff said it when I mentioned the promo's airing at such a late hour, and I was thinking it. But its very telling that CN's airing these Toonami promos during AS and AS Action rather then debuting it on the Toonami block in the first place.

After all the time we spent complaining about the lack of something 'new', and the re-use of the batman tagline...and your dissapointed they didn't recycle a tagline for this promo?

New night, New Toonami, New shows, FRESH CLEAN SLATE.

The revamp in 2003 was hoped to be the etch-e-sketch in Toonami history. With new more 'mature' shows like YYH and Kenshin on the block, it seemed the days of Hamtaro and DBZ could be going by the wayside.

That didn't happen.

Now we've got another chance to see the block start fresh, and you want them to recycle taglines?

Plus, SEED is not Wing. It is best not to pretend it is, and I'm thankful that WS ISN'T doing just that.
