    Oddly enough, I used to hate Sailor Moon because of the weird animation and strange plots...but I gradually got into it. I was the same way with Pokemon until I just learned to ignore the cute beasties and focus my attention on Jessy...so beautiful, so psychologically enigmatic.
    Sailor Moon's a very strange human drama, which are the kinds of anime I go for (my biggest gripe about Dragonball Z is that it just seems to be pretty-boys who prance, flex their muscles and gab/train incessantly with no character growth or development)...not to mention I luvs t' lookit th' purty wimmins, hyuk hyuk.

    On dolphin behavior

    Actually, the male dolphin has been known to extend its--ahem--John Thomas in the direction of swimmers...its perversely unique way of saying "howdy".
    He also is known to hit, bite, slap, and violently bump into the female during the mating process. Flipper's no gentleman. (Well, technically, Flipper was a girl, but you see my point.)

    Hey, even King of the Hill did an episode about this, when Hank got...um....violated by a dolpin at the zoo. This stuff isn't anything new. I can't say I quite understand peoples attraction to animals...and vice versa...nor do I really want to understand it.

    I won't put the link up here, but for the curious, check out the movie "Dolphin" on VHS at amazon.com. Well, why not...I will at least post the pic of the cover box here. We carry this in the video store I work at, and it is by far the most disturbing cover box I have ever seen. EVER.

    What gets me is that this movie is rented out quite frequently. I often see that it's been checked out when I straighten the shelves. Dolphin is probably one of our more popular titles in our foriegn section.

    I once saw a documentary where at least 5 male dolphins gang banged a female. I don't like dolphins anymore.
