I noticed the article about Scott McCloud on the news page of this site. And it reminded me of his greatest creation, my second favorite indie series next to Elfquest - Zot! What a terrific series it was, imaginative, poignant and with some of the most original and interesting villians ever conceived (Dekko, the Devoes, and my personal fave, electric assassin 9-Jack-9.) And, like Elfquest, it would make a great feature film. Wonder why no studio's snapped it up? Added to the greatness that was Zot! was the little feature added to the back pages of every issue - Matt Feazell's (sp?) "Zot in Dimension 10 1/2!" In that dimension everybody's a stick figure and it was flat-out hilarious. I'm glad McCloud's still in the business, and I hope to catch him on tour.
