This week's review isn't really epic, which is a shame, since it's a Epic Mickey.

Another splendid review, with a lot of good points; his comment that kids don't care for cartoons before "ThunderCats" made me laugh hard because he's right; good luck finding High School and College kids actually loving classic Disney cartoons.

True. But it's still a solid platformer on it's own rights. I'm surprised Yahtzee didn't take time to insult Warren Spector for this. He sure had no problem insulting Tim Schaeffer in his Brutal Legend review.

That's probably because he really like Tim Schaeffer. But who wouldn't? Tim Schaeffer is amazing. Maybe Yahtzee just isn't a fan of Deus Ex.

He did a song about Dues Ex... it's at the end of the Guitar Hero World Tour review... or a fuzzy copy of it is on youtube.

I'm starting to think BioShock 2 is underrated. Yes, it wasn't as mindblowingly amazing as the original game, but was anyone really expecting it to be? And BioShock 2 is a better GAME with the improved combat and hacking and the story really wasn't as awful as so many people seem to think it is. I can understand if you didn't really like BioShock 2 but to call it one of the worst of the year? That's pretty harsh.

I think that Bioshock 2 is in some ways a mirror image of the first. The first blew everyone away because it had such an original aesthetic and because the story was so amazing right up through the plot twist. Unfortunately, the story and gameplay kinda fell apart right after the twist, and the player's Big Daddification, the Little Sister escort sequence and the final boss made up one of the most disappointing final acts I can recall in a video game. Nobody really remembers that final act, though, because the first parts of the game left such a great first impression.

Bioshock 2, on the other hand, makes a TERRIBLE first impression, retreading the introduction to Rapture and the plasmid system and shoehorning in this villain nobody's ever heard of in the first game and trying to set her up as having been this big thorn in Ryan's side. Whatever.

It's only a few hours in that you start to unlock enough different powers to really appreciate all the improvements they made to the combat, and the story doesn't really kick into high gear until the second act. After that, it's AMAZING, but I get the distinct impression that a lot of people never made it that far, or if they did, never got over that initial bad impression of the game.

I agree, Bioshock 2 deserved more credit. It is still a great experience and a good continuation of the story. Also the multiplayer is a lot of fun, but I know Yahtzee doesn't care to judge a game based on that.

Yeah, pretty much. Cata is nice and fun and updates a lot of old grind (lots of the new quests of 'solving mysteries (he's not actually making that up)' or driving something are fun. Though still, it's a huge timesink and when you step back and look at why you raid, it's kind of pointless. I quit Cata already, but it was fun while I played.

After being effected by all the crazy flooding in Australia Yahtzee decides to craft some mines.

Oh god, I love Minecraft. Its a game...about nothing and everything. Its amazing. Strangely, Yahtzee seems to enjoy it too.

I'll wait until Minecraft gets an update so it's a little less Beta-y for my taste but I can't lie. Even I show an interest in Minecraft.

You should buy it sooner then later. Its €15 right now. But will be €20 when its out of beta. So might as well save yourself some money and enjoy the beta.

Yeah, a lot of reviewers have been panning Lost in Shadows...which is a real shame, i was looking forward to it. I guess I'll pick it up when its like $10 or something.

This week, Square-Enix tries to hack Yahtzee's mind with the freaking, freaking, freaking, freaking horrible game Mind Jack.

Wow I dropped the ball. But anyway.

Last week, Yahtzee put his faith in what he most believes in... Two Worlds... One Family-- No no... Just Two Worlds II.

And this week, Yahtzee takes a gun crazy train ride through a Bulletstorm.
