The initial connection I saw was Joker, Poison Ivy, and Black Adam were part of that Injustice League Unlimited in recent comics. But still digging around.

EDIT: And Black Adam and Count Vertigo were members of the Injustice Society.

I was never a huge dc comics fan, so I'm not sure. I know both Ultra-Humanite and Atomic Skull are Superman villains, we know about the two Gothamites, Vertigo is Arrow's enemy,Black Adam and Wotan are supernatural villains, and Wotan Is an enemy of Fate but could also be Zatara's if Fate is obviously M.I.A., which would make a lot of sense right now. I also can imagine Madame Xanadu is probably going to be reappearing soon.

As for if these guys are Light affiliated, I discount nothing at this point. I still think their is a pattern building here to their attacks. Before I felt they were weather-based, now I'm thinking it's all ecological/natural somehow. They are possibly trying to not just take over the world, but somehow recreate it. The freeze guys, the venom serum, animals, plant life, and don't forget Starro.

Um... How exactly does the JL expect the team to take on a group like this? Black Adam alone should be able to wipe the floor with them...

It's got to be bad intel. No way, Batman would have the Team face those villains alone. Sure sending them to recon a Caribbean drug factory, escort pieces and fake pieces of Amazo on the East Coast, keep a kidnapped scientist from being assassinated, recon in the Middle East, and going undercover at Belle Reve are arguably insane but Batman sending the Team to fight those supervillains? Something smells fishy about it. Idk, maybe if Red Tornado is still in the picture, he goes along with the Team then abandons them mid-fight because T.O. Morrow broadcasts a signal that reprograms him?

Yeah, I'm guessing they don't know there are that many guys. Then again, the logline did say Batman assigned them to a more dangerous task.

Or perhaps he screws up the intel on purpose to send them to their deaths.

I think its a set-up...there is no way they can take those villains on by themselves.

Here's the thing, I just saw the titles for the Ben 10 and Young Justice episodes scheduled for October 7th as well as the descriptions for one, and i'm a little worried about how they'll turn out. You see, my birthday is the day after, and i'm worried that these episodes might leave a bad taste in my mind.

I'm starting to wonder who exactly the Justice Society fought. Icicle, Sportsmaster, and Tigress are all modern day do-bad-ers in this universe and that's half of (one line-up) of the Injustice Society of the World. Admittedly, it is the half that reproduced, but still.

Does anyone else hope that we end up seeing a Young Injustice team set up by The Light? Maybe in a season finale or something? Icicle Jr., Cheshire, Mammoth, Shimmer, Klarion, Hazard (OK, no reason to assume she'd appear but she's the only existing JSA villain legacy not on the show), etc.

I think the Injustice League is gonna wipe the floor with the YJ team. It would also justify why they will be adding extra team members like Zatanna.

Well, that really only count the Injustice Syndicate though. There are still a bunch of Golden Age villains like the Shade and Turtle and Per Degaton who are so far unaccounted for. And of course Vandal Savage could easily be a former JSA foe too. Wotan, Solomon Grundy, the first Tigress, ECT.

I'd doubt Hazard would appear. The other JSA legacy villains had a distinct connection to the show beyond simply being related to the JSA.

Here's my theory on what will happen in episodes 14 and 15: the Team will be assisted by Captain Marvel (it sounds like Red Tornado disappears in "Home Front" since Captain Marvel replaces him in the next episode). However, the Team are still having a hard time. Enter Zatara and Zatanna; they come to the rescue, but Zatara is wounded/killed, which explains why Zatanna has to be kidnapped by the Team in the next episode (her head's all over the place because of what's happened to her father, so she's in no mood to help them track down Red Tornado).

Wow, the Injustice League?! I only noted Poison Ivy and The Joker in that promo, so I thought it was Batman's rogue's gallery. That should be interesting this Friday. I love how the team is now officially being called The Team in the episode loglines. I'm still going to call them Young Justice, because I'm not convinced they won't be named that later. ;)

And Aqualad has been hiding something from them. Probably referring to his knowledge of a mole. Well, Greg did say the theme for the first season if not the entire show was "secrets and lies" so I'm sure he's not the only one holding something from them....

    Can't wait to see Zatanna!

Good ideas. I loved Zatanna since Btas, so I don't care how she's used. It will be interesting seeing her as a girl, ya know KF is gonna be sprung over her. I'm wondering how much training she has had. I'm still wondering how thr helmet of Nabu will be utilized, it may be the reason the villains break into their headquarters.

I'm seriously betting that once the kids kidnap her, Wally is gonna make some sort of lewd (but PG) pun.

Here is some info about "HomeFront" that Greg Weisman posted on AskGreg a while back. 1) The episode is written by Jon Weisman. 2) It only uses 9 voice actors. 3) And it is tied for having the shortest script of the season.

Since the Joker and the others seen in the recent promo clip are more than likely the Injustice League from episode 14, the question remains: who are the unknown invaders from "HomeFront"? Since the invaders would have to be pretty tech-savvy to get in The Cave, I think Gizmo is a possibility.

For those unfamiliar with Gizmo here is a quick bio. There are 2 Gizmos in the DC Universe. One is an older man who can turn a vacuum cleaner into a deadly weapon, and the other is his teenage son who has his dad's tech know-how. The younger Gizmo is based on the Teen Titans cartoon version of Gizmo. Gizmo has been a member of the Fearsome Five, a villain team, that includes characters who have already appeared in Young Justice: Mammoth, Shimmer, and Psimon.

Um I just realized in the last episode john's niece mentioned that the white martians are abused on mars, does that mean they have not revolted or is she talking in a past tense (her wording did not seem past tense) and if not will we see their uprising

wait Joker is making an appearance, since when?

    The answer is
Miss Martian talks about Martian society some more in Issue 6. Green, White, and Red Martians all live in cities underground on Mars. Because Miss Martian tells how she got to be picked as Martian Manhunter's sidekick, the story is fairly recent in the "present" so Martian society is a peaceful one so far. It's not so much abuse as it is just an issue of race and intolerance.

On February 11, 2011; the writers of Issue 1-6 "Art and Franco" stated that

Plus, the commercial that aired on the Friday "Targets" aired featured the Joker in a clip. Look a few posts ago and I reposted an image.

I've been hoping that before the show ever aired. And at almost halfway through the first season I'm a little disappointed that it hasn't happened yet.

I think the team would have at least 6 regular members, the same as Young Justice, maybe 7 if Young Justice adds a member. And I see it being largely teen villains we've already seen in the show, after all, where's the fun in a bunch of random no-names showing up that nobody knows who are?

I see Cheshire as the Red Arrow of the group, showing up occasionally, but not a full-timer.

Klarion is too powerful, he almost beat Doctor Fate, unless his powers are scaled back.

As of "Terrors" I believe there is the possibility of Icicle Junior turning good, at least for awhile later on, but he may end up on the Young Injustice team for awhile before that.

Mammoth and Shimmer would be good additions to the team, and if they're on the team, then I doubt the Terror Twins would be, since the two pairs of teenage twin villains have too much in common (it would seem redundant to have both). And Mammoth and Shimmer are the more iconic ones.

My current prediction for Young Injustice is that it will be like the Fearsome Five from the comics, but with a slightly varied roster. Based on that Gizmo and Jinx would be good candidates.
