I like the accent Maggie Q gave Wondy.

Oh Guy, they just do not like you.

Seriously, why are there two Green Lanterns in the league?

So far the plot makes me think this is just an obvious plan by Lex to get a hold of his own superboy to use in the future.

Edit: Looks like they perfected the cloning!

Why not? Cap and Supes have the same powerset, and your not complaining about them.

Looks like Lex is playing the part of papa a lot more than Superman is.

    Edit: Nice Batman!

Yeah and It's good to see Batman stick up for him while other members of the league are against him. I hope Superman gets a scene sticking up for Captain Marvel after the break.

Am I the only one finding the League's discussion more interesting than Superboy's story?

    No, No your not!

Edit: Looks like this is more what Lex was looking for, testing out the half human superboys full strength against the fully kryptonian Match.

Is Matches a character in the comics or did they name him after Bruce's alter ego Matches Malone?

Red Son huh? Looks like superboy being the mole is even more of a possibility, if there even is a mole.

It's Match, and he is a character from the comics, but I am curious why you'd think he was named after Batman/Bruce's 3rd alter ego.

Green Lanterns are supposed to be space cops looking out for the safety of a whole sector of space. In theory, the more Lanterns there are in The League, the more likely it is that they'll be able to fulfill all their responsibilities (I.E, one can be on Earth with the League while the other responds to a call elsewhere in the sector).

Not really. If this show ever gets a spin-off, I'd want it to be about The Justice League. How neat would it be to see this version of the League go International (we can skip the Detroit era).

I cringed when "Match" heat-ray'd the S emblem on his chest. And then someone pointed out the emblem being backwards.

I could be mistaken, but... Bizarro, anyone?

I wonder how the voting went since the end left things open to who's in.

In the comics, Match is basically a Bizarro Superboy.

    Great episode!

I loved all the stuff with the Justice League discussing membership. Lot's of good points addressed.:
-The argument of biological age vs. chronological age is a great debate.
-Batman supporting Captain Marvel, and Wonder Woman throwing Robin's age in his face -- very cool.
-Superman originally thinking Captain Marvel, and possibly Icon, was Kryptonian.
-Wonder Woman, Hawkwoman, and Black Canary voicing the lack of females on the team compared to male members.
-Plastic Man being laughed at by Captain Marvel.
    -The Atom's size being questioned.
-Hal Jordan and John Stewart strongly opposed to Guy Gardner being considered.
-A hint that Zatara still has some degree of conscious influence as Dr. Fate over Nabu.

It's as if the writers/producers were addressing a lot thoughtful points of discussions that are never usually heard outside the geek fanbase.

I also like that we finally got mention of Red Arrow being Guradian's nephew, and Superboy being a clone not just of Superman, but of Lex Luthor!

So is Match supposed to be Superboy's Bizarro or something? Or is he meant to be the only Bizarro of the series?

I unfortunately missed what the final vote of the League was for (since my son was talking to me at that moment), so who was it that the League was in agreed favor of joining? Was it Captain Marvel?

I suspect that Lex is lying about Superboy's powers. If he didn't have the capacity for heat vision and flight, he wouldn't be able to, period. No patch could give him something he didn't already have inside him. DNA isn't Lego, you can't just chemically swap in and out bits on the fly and have those changes manifest in an already grown organism.

No, Lex wants Connor to become dependent on the patches and thus dependent on him. But given enough time, or a massive shock to his system, I'm betting he'd develop full Kryptonian powers on his own. K-DNA is clever like that.
