In 1999, Nickelodeon released a Nicktoons crossover game, Nicktoons Racing, that started a chain of Nicktoons video games up until 2011 with the release of Nicktoons MLB. Now in 2017, this is the longest Nick has gone without releasing a Nicktoons crossover game, being nearly 6 years. Do you think Nickelodeon is done with making Nicktoons crossover video games mostly in part of THQ becoming bankrupt?

By the way, my personal favorite was Globs of Doom despite its kind of bad characters models and okish gameplay, well, atleast when you were playing single anyway.

That could be or they just weren't into video games anymore. It really has been along time since they have made a good Nick console game.

Such a shame, even though they weren't very good games in terms of quality, the mere fact that it featured a mashup of Nicktoons characters was what made it fun.

I don't think kids want licensed games anymore

    It's not just Nick

Even licensed movie games are dead!

I did hear Cartoon Network was publishing licensed console video games (which are Steven Universe: Save the Light and that OK K.O. game), so maybe Nickelodeon could start doing the same! They should at least have their first published game be an HD port of Battle for Bikini Bottom!

But is SpongeBob still popular enough with kids to take that kind of a risk?

Upscaling a game is a costly time-consuming commitment!

Yeah SpongeBob may still be popular with teens and young adults but Nickelodeon is for KIDS

I believe this is why we'll never get a remake of Battle for Bikini Bottom!

Nick still occasionally releases video games. Korra and a TMNT games were released a while ago. I think Nick mainly publishes games on the Nick App and online now, though.

I'd say so, though I can easily see them just doing what Ghostbuster said instead.

The Korra and TMNT games were by Platinum too. Granted the latter didn't turn out too hot but I'd love to see one of the crossover games in the hands of a Japanese developer...
