    EDIT
Half-Minute Hero Super Mega Neo Climax is real now thanks to Famitsu. 2 graphical styles, too. 800 space bucks. June 29 in Japan and most likely worldwide since it has been ESRB-rated and PEGI-rated.

    Radiant Silvergun news.
-Will have Saturn version (cutscenes! voices!) and arcade version (nothing!). 1200 fun bucks (DO NOT COMPLAIN BECAUSE IT COST BIG BUCKS ON EBAY). Still that vague 2011 window.

    Piece of info from Famitsu:

Half-Minute Hero Super Mega Neo Climax is an Xbox Live Arcade version of the similarly named (minus all the fluff at the end) retro-styled PSP RPG. The game will add a new "Neo Cartoon Mode" offering refreshed visuals. Other features include 62 new quests and online multiplayer support. A release is set for June 29, priced 800 Microsoft Points. Here's a new preview from GamePro which makes this look pretty awesome.

You guys seriously need to try Half Minute Hero when it comes out if you haven't played the PSP version. Don't be turned off by the 'RPG' trappings, it's very much an arcade game, and a damn good one.

EDIT: Bloodrayne Betrayal trailer (the WayForward game)

    Holy crap.

No XBLA games today just like they was none last week what are they playing at? It's not like they have no games to bring out either:confused:.

Edit Costume Quest is 600ms points this week as the Family Deal.

Yeah, not digging the new art style. I'll definitely be using the old one, it just suits this style of game better, IMO.

Seriously can't wait to play this one again.

    http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/JonathanFlook/20110602/7719/

-Who here has bought or at least tried this week's two XBLA games, The Adventures of Shuggy and Magic the Gathering 2012? Or any of the top-selling XBLA and XBLIG titles of E3 week like Dungeons and Dragons, Fortresscraft, Avatar Legends, and Techno Kitten Adventure?

Also, please note that this thread will eventually close and a new thread will take its place. I'm still deciding between either starting it at the same time as the Summer of Arcade promotion or before it. In either case, there will not be a separate Summer of XBLA thread this year because of this transition. All XBL deals should also be posted in the sales/deals thread

At this point I'm wondering if we'll be getting Radiant Silvergun or Guardian Heroes first.

But no, I haven't tried any of the recent XBLA games. There's nothing that has really interested me in a while.

I second that. I have around 4000 points left to spend, but I find myself just waiting for DLC instead of picking up any arcade games. I think the next game that I really want is Toy Soldiers: Cold War, but I doubt that it will have anywhere near the charm of the original. I spent a lot of time in the trenches and I'm going to miss World War I.

I'll be honest myself and haven't bought or downloaded any XBLA game trail recently. Haven't bought Outland or Toy Soldiers. Or any XBLIG game. In fact, the only game I was excited for in these past couple of months was Deathsmiles 2X*, which is available only in the US as a download-only title via Games On Demand (and I will make a consideration for these DL-only GoD titles on this thread). But, I might buy Lucha Fury, a beat-em-up that came out today along with Trenched. The demo I played was pretty fun.

    And now, the news:

-Ms. Splosion Man. July 13. No price set.

-Captain America pinball table coming to Pinball FX 2 next week. (video included)

    http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2011/06/namco_revives_arcade_classics.php

-Still have the Xplorer guitar from Guitar Hero 2? Well, there's a game on XBLIG designed to exploit a feature found in it and the GH3 Les Paul: analog movement when tilting the instrument upward
    http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2011/06/guitar_hero_instruments_become.php

-Konami has stepped up their digital presence. The aforementioned Puddle and Leedmees will be released by Konami, along with MLB Bobblehead Pros, Zombie Apocalypse 2 (done by Backbone instead of original dev Nihilistic), and Jimmie Johnson's Anything With An Engine. Oh, and Konami will publish Skullgirls

-Puzzle League-meets-Mathematics Sum Fighter for XBLIG

-XBLIG title Lair of the Evildoer finally combines Torchlight with Twin-Stick shooters. (video)
    http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2011/06/lair_of_the_evildoer_is_someho.php

-Oh, and the sequel to tough-as-hell Platformance is now out on XBLIG (video)
    http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2011/06/platformance_sequel_brings_man.php

*BTW, if you don't mind gothic lolitas, bullet-hell gameplay, and it being almost entirely in Japanese, Deathsmiles 2X is a good $30 purchase.

Someone on NeoGAF posted a list of the known XBLA games we're getting this summer:

Looking like a good summer for XBLA, even if the promotional games as a whole aren't looking too hot, IMO.

Looks like I'll be picking up Half Minute Hero, Ms. Splosion Man, BloodRayne, Skullgirls, and Street Fighter 3. Maybe I'll give Space Channel 5 a shot as I've never played it before. I'll have to try out Burgertime. Having grown up with the game I do have nostalgia tied to it but I haven't really been liking the look of this new one.

Lucha Fury plays fine but it is a real mess if your Playing it single player for these reasons.

1 Stage resets from begining if you die just once
2 Has a team revival system like castle crashers but in single players instead it gives you 10 seconds to kill a enemy that drops a health item.
3 They is a enemys that is next to impossible to hurt in one player because you have to get behind it to hurt it and in single player 99% of the time it is always facing you
4 Main bosses have insane amount of Hp. One boss I beat took like over 200 hits to kill.
5 Game difficulty is same as when playing 4 players at once even in single players making the bosses insanely dificult in single player
6 No Online multiplayer what so ever even though the 360 desciption itself says it has it:confused:.

So yeah only recomended for local multiplayer 2nd Worst XBLA game Ive bought this year first been Ghost Busters Sanctum of Slime.

Can not comment on Trenched as the game has yet to show on most European Including UK market place though it got Pegi rated and has a Trailer up though:confused:.

Not sure if it is a Limited sale or for forever but Gatling Gears is now 800 Microsoft Points.

Maybe because there is another XBL promotion on the dash called "Shoot Em Up", where Gatling Gears is a featured title. Even though it's not listed on sale there, it's not listed in any part of the "Sales & Special Offers" section as a "Recently Reduced" title or otherwise. Also, please remember that we do have a general gaming sales and deals thread, where I posted three things: PopCap's catalog as a part of this week's DotW (biased opinion: BEJEWELED BLITZ LIVE IS WORTH 200 POINTS! BUY IT! Also, PVZ and Peggle are two of the best games of all-time), Sonic games on sale (again, but now with Sonic Adventure!), and XBLIG dev radiangames's bizarro "Save -400%" sale (yes, you read that right).

-While on the topic of XBLIG, the guy behind radiangames posted a postmortem of his XBLIG project on Gamasutra
    http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/6407/postmortem_radiangames_monthly_.php

-Here's Joystiq's column "Xbox Live Indie Gems" profiling The Great Paper Adventure
    http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/24/xbox-live-indie-gems-the-great-paper-adventure/

-And Kotaku's favorite XBLIG titles right now
    http://kotaku.com/5812357/control-a...tty-in-this-xbox-indie-game-rundown/gallery/1

-XBLIG dev Crosse Studio (maker of the lacrosse games on the service) gets it YouTube account banned as "scams, spam and commercially deceptive content." BTW, it could be a retaliation for ratings-gate from earlier this year
    http://kotaku.com/5815035/youtube-b...ount-as-scams-spam-and-commercially-deceptive

-And, there's Bloody Checkers, which melds RPG, adventure gaming (think King's Field), and checkers
    http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2011/06/bloody_checkers_is_everything.php

    And, in XBLA
-Double Dragon 2 gets rated in Germany. That is all.
    http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/24/double-dragon-2-wanderer-of-the-dragons-rated-for-xbox-360/

-TMNT Reshelled will be pulled after June 30 in the US

    Double Dragon II?

If it's a ground up remake of the second NES game, then I'm in. Especially if they can get some 4 player co-op in there.

Sorry man, but I'm just not feeling this SOXBLA. Everything being full price and the result of the deal doesn't really inspire me to be more invested in it. I'm far more interested in the game's being released around it this summer than the game's in the actual promotion.

Also, bit of an updated list:
