Bobby and Rogue are probably teachers at the school, hence why they're still there.

The events of the previous films are no longer a part of the timeline Wolverine now lives in. It's a nice way to not have to pigeon-hole oneself into making films that have to reflect those older films. For all we know Logan officially joined the X-Men in the 1980s and has been teaching every since.

Yeah, like Jacob said, all the previous films were erased.

The only confusing thing for me is where this leaves The Wolverine 2. Since the first The Wolverine probably never happened, will the sequel address this?

I dunno, they looked like a couple of high school kids holding hands in the hallway...but maybe you're right.

So wait - will the next X-Men film be set AFTER the events of that epilogue scene? in 2023?!?

    Weird.

I was hoping they were going to use Apocalypse's Celestial technology to de-age Magneto (making Magneto a horseman, or something), and maybe de-age Xavier while they are at it...that way we can finally get away from Magneto and Xavier being old geezers and yet keep things in the present day.

But apparently we should get use to "retro" X-Men films from here on out...

EDIT: The more I think about it, it doesn't seem very menacing to have threats in the past when we all know that they still get the "Happily Ever After" as shown at the end of "Days of Future Past".

I don't see the problem. Apocalypse will probably simply attack both timelines or his attack in 1983 is something that affects the future timeline Logan currently lives in.

Is the Rogue Cut still happening? It's meant to be coming this Summer but we still don't have a release date, do we?

Apocalypse is apparently the final in the trilogy of the prequel films, which will again focus on Xavier/Magneto/Mystique.

There's been no news on the Rogue cut, sadly. I hope the commentary confirms how Xavier managed to come back.

Awesome! But is the Blu-ray the only version that will have both cuts? I hope they'll both be on the DVD...

Good that the disc has both cuts, but why omit the extras from the previous edition?! That really sucks for completists.

The idea is to have folks buy both. The more money the better.

FOX does that alot on their home videos, just look at Star Wars. If anything, you have to check out both and compare if they are repeating the same info in a different way. If they both are truly different, well you know what to do.

Is there any truth to the rumor that the Rogue Cut will get a limited theatrical release before the Blu-ray hits?

Does anyone really WANT a Fantastic Four 2015 sneak peak? I honestly thought for this release we were going to get something for X-Men: Apocalypse.
