Hmm. In a way the existence of Ajax's facility did sort of hint at something going on in the new present timeline.
Storm & Nightcrawler are in an M&M commercial for the upcoming movie.
Magneto featurette. I guess they'll shift to the X-Men next week.
I only remembered a few power pieces from last time like Beast, and Quicksilver.

Looking at Fox's YT, they stopped at Bishop, Iceman and Colossus all on May 19. There was Xavier (15), Storm (14), Beast (13), Blink (13), Magneto (12), Quicksilver (5/9), Wolverine (4/28) before them. Looks like maybe the current class - maybe Cyclops, Jubilee, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler - next two weeks then TV spots and a clip or two leading up to the 27th

The reviews are out:
Apparently, Psylocke wasn't originally going to be the fourth Horseman.
Kinberg teases the post credits teaser (that wasn't shown yet)
I hope it's Mr. Sinister.
Yikes, the buzz around this movie is not very promising, everything from "its overstuffed" to "Oscar Isaacs deveresed better" is being said in the reviews. Can't say I'm surprised though, the movie looked pretty soulless from the trailers. It'll be intersesting to see how the movie ends up performing.
People and critics liked Days of Future Past but I thought it was overstuffed, confused, and not that fun. Specially the past part. The future part was good (specially the action scenes), but it was more fan service than anything else in my opinion. The core of the plot was in the past.
So maybe, now that the critics are saying Apocalypse is not that good, I'm going to like a bit more. Critics said that one of the highlights is Cyclops. That alone is worth my trip to the theaters, IMHO.
Singer talks about different versions of
I was also in the camp that Day was kinda meh but if you didn't like DoFP because it was overstuffed and not that fun then it doesnt look like you're going to enjoy Apocalypse because thats exactly what there saying is wrong with the movie. But I mean, divisive reviews don't mean that Apocalypse is going to Fantastic Four this and crap the bed, it just means that it probably won't make the kind of money Fox probably hoped a J-Law led X-men movie could make.
Most of the reviews don't worry me; one critic said it was like the 90s cartoon. Sounds good to me.
That said, I've also heard that characters like Angel, Jubilee, and Psylocke are criminally underused. X-Men has never been known for juggling it's characters that well, but still disappointing if true.
I don't think the X-Men are known for not juggling characters well, especially given they're a longstanding Superhero team with many popular characters, but I think Singer and the X-Movies in general have certainly had their issues with it .
Maybe this will turn out to be good, and will make the new movies to have more important characters in the X-Men Mythos (Cyclops, Jean, Storm) to have the spotlight.
