It's a shot of a girl representing an Xbox 360 Slim in japanese advertisements. Anyone who knows me will know i have a thing for drill hair, so I was fond of it from the start.

Too bad she doesn't look like this Hyperdimension Neptunia.

I normally leave my Christmas avatar up until the end of December, but decided to go ahead and switch early. Back on a James Bond high recently thanks to picking up some more Ian Fleming novels, and Timothy Dalton is my favorite Bond.

I made sure to save two of the best for last...my first and (before I met the Doctor) favorite time travelers, Doc and Marty.

There are a few other time travelers I didn't list, but with the new year coming I'd like to just end my tribute series here and switch to a more stable avatar/signature. I've never pulled a gimmick like this before and I feel somewhat obnoxious about having done it, but it was a lot of fun and I hope people discovered new characters and stories that they hadn't seen before.

Here's the full listing in my Salute to Time Travelers:

1: The Doctor, Doctor Who (tv) (The First Doctor pictured)
2: Tony Newman and Doug Phillips, The Time Tunnel (tv)
3: Mr. Peabody, Rocky and Bullwinkle (tv)
4: Cornelius and Zira, Escape from the Planet of the Apes (movie) (Cornelius pictured)
5: The Time Traveler, The Time Machine (novel, movie)
    6: Jack, Samurai Jack (tv)
7: Sam Beckett, Quantum Leap (tv)
8: Austin Powers, The Austin Powers series (movies)
9: The Terminators, The Terminator series (movies, tv) (Model 101 pictured)
10: The Time Squad, Time Squad (tv) (Tuddrussel, Larry 3000 and Otto pictured)
11: Frank Parker, 7 Days (tv)
    12: Tim, Braid (video game)
13: Every Main Character in the Star Trek Franchise (tv, movies) (James T. Kirk pictured)
14: Eckels, "A Sound of Thunder" (short story)
15: Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (novel, movie)
16: Brett Hopper, Day Break (tv)
17: Carmen Sandiego, The Carmen Sandiego franchise (books, tv, video games)
18: The Survivors, Lost (tv) (Desmond David Hume pictured)
19: Ash Williams, The Evil Dead series (movies)
20: The Prince, The Prince of Persia series (video games)
    21: A.J. Malloy, A.J.'s Time Travelers (tv)
22: James Cole, 12 Monkeys (movie)
23: Link, The Legend of Zelda franchise (video games)
24: Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan, The Bill and Ted franchise (movies, tv)
25: Booster Gold, Booster Gold (comic book)
26: Darien Lambert, Time Trax (tv)
27: Emmett Brown and Marty McFly, The Back to the Future franchise (movies, tv)

Well... Christmas is over, so it's time for a new avatar.

This time around, it's Taurus Bulba, the badass first villian from Darkwing Duck. It's kind of a shame that they didn't use this guy more (I think he only appeared in one other episode, outside of the pilot), as he was probably one of the more menacing villians from the series. He would have made a good recurring rival for Darkwing and co.

Because the idea of a kitten face popping out of a cup of flour is downright adoreable, my current avatar is that moment from the Looney Tunes cartoon Feed the Ktty.

Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta's design created for the Raging Blast video game series. I believe this was drawn by Yamamuro Naoyoshi (he seems to be the head animator and artist for the Dragon Ball Kai era of promo art and animation).

The new Claymore volume is coming out in the States this week, so I'm breaking out a big image of series protagonist Clare.

Big avatar + Transfixed eyes = Majorly creepy

I'm going to get around to drawing a new avatar soon, but for now this screengrab I stole online should suffice.

Ever since I got Despicable Me for Christmas, I am reminded of why I loved this film, and why Gru is awesome.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of perhaps the greatest American comic book company of all time, Dark Horse Comics, I'll be showcasing some of the iconic characters whose adventures have been published by Dark Horse over the past quarter century. First up is Miyamoto Usagi from Stan Sakai's long running series "Usagi Yojimbo", who you may recognize from his numerous crossovers with the Ninja Turtles in both comics and animation.

Well, I just finished Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, plus the picture looked nice. Also, I wanted to use a bigger picture.

Wow! I didn't know Dark Horse was 25 years old this year. I would have guessed at least 20, but not 25. Still, that's pretty cool.

Well this is going to sound corny but I chose Kim Possible because she was my hero in 3rd grade and it reminds me of my friendship with my now ex-best friend and the "adventures" we would go on whenever we played together. Plus, I thought this was a pretty awesome pic of her. lol

I didn't have anything new, so I was thinking "You know what's under appreciated? Squirrels!"
    So, that explains that.

It's going to take some time to get used to these really huge avatars.
I always thought 120x120 was about optimal to give enough space to resolve a complex image.
    I guess it's a good perk though.
Good riddens to the days of the old cramped 75x75 standard.
I'm glad to see you listed them all.
I thought you did Back to the Future earlier, but I guess I was wrong.
    I didn't get 12, 14, 20 or 21.
Even though I know the story of Sound of Thunder, I didn't recognize the image.

    But no Voyagers?
If you're interested in time travel, I hope you know Voyagers!
A short but very enjoyable series from 1982.

It's from a comic book adaptation of the story. Really the only place to find actual art of the character. (There was no Eckles in the recent ((terrible)) movie.)

I know of the show, but I've never seen an episode. There were a few things I never had personal experience with that made it on this list. (Prince of Persia, 12 Monkeys) Like I said in my older post, there were a few others I could have included, like Voyagers!, Superbook and the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future, but I didn't want to drag this on any longer.

No offense, Vyse, but your avatar creeps me out. ._.

Anyway, back to evil Yakko, a favorite.
