I just have to laugh at some of these band names that I'm reading here such as:

String Cheese Incident
Alien Ant Farm
Bruce Cockburn
Havalina Rail Company
Lost Dogs
Swirling Eddies
Thelonious Octopus
Paragon Null
Areknutekyterne
Arthur Loves Plastic
Stero MCs
Histatic Charge
Harold Budd
Squirrel Nut Zippers
Poor Old Lu
Puddle Of Mudd

I think those names are hillarious, especially, Bruce Cockburn, String Cheese Incident, and Squirrel Nut Zippers.

I feel sorry for Lu.

Dude, Leonard Cohen is the MAN. How could I have forgot him from my list? If I lost all my CDs tomorrow, I'd want to keep my Leonard Cohen CDs.

When I first discovered the music of Bruce Cockburn, it was after Mark Heard died and Bruce was a fan of Mark's and contributed to the tribute projects for Mark's honor. And when I first heard his stuff, I had to get EVERYTHING by him. The dude's been making music since the early 70s so there's quite a bit of back catalogue to catch up on. Anyway, I called one of the larger CD stores in St Paul to find out what else they had, and the guy on the phone kinda chucked at that name. I've heard it pronounced COburn, but I believe it is pronounced the way it sounds. I have a video about the music of Mark that Bruce appears on and it's pronounced the way it sounds. So I say to this record store clerk the name the way it's supposed to be pronounced, and he kinda laughs, probably thinking I am making a joke call or something, and he sounds surprised when the name comes up in the computer. But his music is seriously good.

String Cheese Incident is awesome, Inque. That is, if you're into jam band kind of music and going to concerts with a bunch of potheads. Aside from the potheads, going to a SCI concert is an awesome experience...
