One of my fav lesser-known VG composers is Toshiyuki Sudo

He is responsible for the BGM in Personal Trainer Cooking, DS Bimoji Training, the Wii's now-defunct Everybody Votes Channel, & the recent 3DS game Miitopia

I never hear much people talk about him when it comes to game music

    It's always the "big 5"

(Koji Kondo, Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, Yuzo Koshiro, and David Wise)

Another under-rated Nintendo composer is Daisuke Shiiba

He is responsible for the BGM in Eigoduke, Motto Eigoduke, Tomodachi Collection, and probably others I am forgetting

Both Sudo & Shiiba do some very unique and varied music which puts them ahead of Kondo, Uematsu, Shimomura, Koshiro, and Wise!

On the Sega side of things I think Hirofumi Murasaki is under-rated

He is responsible for the BGM in Shinobi 3, Quiz Mega-Q, Aa Harimanada, and many others

Are there any game composers that YOU feel are under-rated?

    Please explain your reasoning

    Thanks in advance!
