What would be a good way to find an artist to help me on a webcomic? Is it acceptable to say, "Hey, I like your style and think it fits what I want — can you help me out?"

There's plenty of great artists on DeviantART who are always on the lookout for projects to work on. Check around the forums.

You have to post in the right forum, though, otherwise you're spamming.

.....And I have no idea where the right forum is, if you're not planning to pay the guy.

PC! — I don't see any forums on DA. Where should I look?

Peter — Of course I'd pay the guy or gal. I may be a cheap bastard, but I'm not gonna force someone to work with me for free. :proud:

Just add that it's a paying gig and you're good to go.

I would if they were willing to help me for free. I can help you, I'm an artist, just shoot me a PM.
