The postal service in my area is inconsistent. Usually from Tuesday to Saturday the mail can come as early as 10am or as late as 4pm, and there is hardly even any consistent timeframe. I know that the volume of mail changes every day, but regardless it seems that they don't have a hour timeframe set in stone for deliveries to local neighborhoods. And on Mondays and days after postal holidays it can come as late as 7pm!

It bugs me to know that my local post office can't get a more consistent delivery time schedule. Anyone else ever get these problems? Or better yet, are there ever any times when the mail comes ridiculously early or late than normal?

For me USPS is about 11:30a.m. to 12:00 noon, UPS about 3 to 4 p.m. and FedEx about 4 to 5 p.m. ( yea I do a lot of internet shoping) All of the mail carriers now know my name:cool: exept for DHL, I only had to deal with them once.

oh and 7 p.m., thats beyond my postal office hours, 5 p.m. is closing time, and truck drivers stop at 6.

    Bouncy clocks... wha?

Huh, you know, I should probably know this, but I don't... well, not really. I think it comes around four or five nowadays. And whenever a different mailman takes over the route (which happened a lot last fall, I think it was), the time is all over the place.

The mail comes to my dorm generally between 11am - 4pm, and it varies a lot. I used to pay very close attention to the mail, because I would work desk, and we would get paid extra if we sorted mail. Also, I just love sorting mail, and would happily do it for free. Mmmm, mail sortage... :anime: :anime: :anime:

We don't have our mail come to our physical address anymore.
Mailman/woman kept gripping that our mailbox was either too far away, too low, or too high.
So we made it where all our mail goes to our PO Box.

So, to answer your question, I don't really know.:D

I'd probably go with the 10am - 4pm range. I think it just depend which mailman is doing the route. More often than not usually it's later than earlier, but I don't mind, I mean who wants to get bills early? :p

I'd go with that too. If the mail carrier is new, it might be before noon, but most of the time it's 1-2pm, with the occassional 4pm. I've had packages from UPS/FedEX arrive as late as 5:30 pm though, oddly enough.

mail here is usually from 12 to 3 usually around 2 though.
UPS does come before Fed Ex, i'd say UPS is about 12-1 and Fed Ex about 1-4.

When I buy something on ebay, mostly.
    Recently:

I waited a week and a half for a package that could have been here in 4 days and part of it was broken ( it was a 30 year old Canon FT QL camera ((yeah, I like oldschool cameras)) and the light meter was broken) . This is annoying because I have another FT QL that doesn't work either, and now me and my father have to make one good one out of two.

I wish the mail wouldn't come for me. It's scary and I'm still in hiding.

On Monday, the mail gets here around 1-2 in the afternoon. From Tuesday to Friday, it comes on average at around 11 AM-1 PM.

I'm Canadian. We're not cool enough to get mail on Saturday. :crying:
