.... what I can be creative with my titles, can't I?

So we got 1000 posts on the old thread, so time for a new thread. PHW gave me the ok.

As for recently I've been listening to Shinedown, Rise Against, and RED. I'm kind of bumbed that I'm going to miss the Shinedown concert at Summerfest tomorrow... I loved the Rise Against concert I saw at Summerfest last Thursday, and I'm listening to "Death of Me" by RED because that's the song I'm using for my next AMV.

    iPod on shuffle:
-Dream Theater - "The Count Of Tuscany" ("Let me introduce... MAH BRUTHUH!!!" lmao Still a great song.)
    -Nirvana - "Heart-Shaped Box"
    -Cynic - "Veil Of Maya"
-Journey - "Wheel In the Sky"
    -Orgy - "Stitches"
-Pink Floyd - "Dogs" (Probably my favorite song/album to mellow out to ever.)

And because I'm starting to revert back into my phase of listening to video game bgm:
-The two Flame Core songs from Sonic 2006. Music's about the only thing they got right in that train wreck.
-A bunch of Organization XIII battle tracks from Kingdom Hearts 2.
-Molgera's battle theme from The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
-Tracks from the Tales Of Symphonia soundtrack.
-And a bunch of OC Remixes.

Tons and tons of Paul Simon. "American Tune", "Graceland", "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes", "You Can Call Me Al", "Under African Skies", and others. :D It's just great. I can't get enough. I'm addicted to the YouTube video of "Under African Skies" performed by Paul Simon and Miriam Makeba: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MB26L8nbRiw

My best friend called me tonight..... from the front row of the Shinedown concert! Ironically enough, I got to listen to the song "Call Me" live front the front row through my best friend's phone. It was awesome. I really wish I were there, but my boss wouldn't give me the day off.... so :(

    "Half-Truism" by The Offpsring.

I thank your version of the intro of the latest Pokemon US opening, Lazerboy. :)

Hm, interesting that diamonds and pearls are part of the lyrics.

I fell massively behind on all the podcasts I subscribe to when school got busy, back in March or so. And when I finally got time to catch up when summer started, my computer died. So now that my computer is in working order again, I'm working through my excessive backlog (started with about 34) of podcasts:

    Anime Pulse
    Imprint (Twilight)
    MuggleCast
    PotterCast

    Music takes a back seat until these are done o.o;;

Second disc to the BlazBlue soundtrack on my 360. Right now, I'm on Track 5. Once I get the tracks on my iPod, I'll be able to call them by their real names.

Speaking of, I gotta connect my iPod to sync up the latest episode of TalkRadar, especially since Rangercast is on a little break due to Anime Expo and the PowerMorphicon 1.5 AX created due to having an influx of Power Ranger guests. Would make for some good eps, though.

Regrettably this inevitably means the band "What Are You Listening To?" is on the verge of a breakup :(.

    Meanwhile...

Michael Jackson - Off The Wall (entire album)
    Dire Straits - "Private Investigations"
The Clash - "Rock the Casbah"
Bruce Springsteen - "Atlantic City" (I <3 Nebraska)
The Killers - "Jenny was a Friend of Mine"

    Yes, I love that song.
Haha, oh yeah. Yeah, diamonds and pearls is in the lyrics, which is why I used that song for that video in the first place. ;)

I'm listening to a little of Theory of a Deadman and Anberlin. They are both at Sumerfest tonight and I might go down tonight and see one of them.

Don't worry Dalek, they'll have one more great album before the end. It always seems to happen. Nebraska is a phenomenal album, too.

Tripping Daisy - Field Day Jitters

Just discovering 'Jesus Hits Like The Atom Bomb', and man is it one of the best albums of the 90s.
