Meh, I feel like a decent chunk of people who got the app subscribed primarily due to their interest in Scooby-Doo. Like it or not, he's by far the most represented of Warner's classic cartoon characters nowadays, so it makes sense to focus on his material.

Really? Just Scooby? I would say old classics and new originals in general. For the variety of content they can't get anywhere else - which they pretty much can't. Scooby is just one show of many at this point, not to mention an almost 50 years old property. Yeah, he is overrepresented and I somewhat dislike that when there's clearly tons of other properties they could focus on without forgetting him. I think people have had enough or are at least willing to give other things a chance. Boomerang doesn't equal Scooby-Doo and he isn't the first nor only thing that comes to mind I would say for many people. Boomerang, similarly to CN, incorporates literally tens of shows. There's no single show that would be superior than the rest. They're all good and that's the variety the service offers. We've had nonstop Doo since October '94 thanks to CN. I like Scooby too, but at this point it's predictable and quite boring and I doubt I'm the only one who feels that way about Scooby-Doo becoming the retro sibling of Teen Titans GO! - ie. being spammed just to make money.

I hope they continue that practice of one new episode a week, so we know what to look forward to each week.

Hopefully maybe next year we will see our first third-party shows (like some CBS-owned content) added to the service. Maybe by now the Boomerang SVOD service has proven popular enough for it. Other similar services have content from multiple companies.

Maybe we can see stuff from Jay Ward and Total Television Productions, seeing that the old CN and Boomerang aired them. But do not except them to add cartoons from Filmation, for example :p Or the H-B cartoons "Jeannie" and "The Patridge Family" :D

Shame WB is ignoring the 90s Addams Family series which has 25 years. I believe 2 Stupid Dogs, Fish Police or Pirates of Dark Water are similar case. Could have put at least the Addams on Boomerang for Halloween.

Strange Paramount wasn't involved in that 1990s Addams Family cartoon which was made in the aftermath of Paramount's 1991 movie. If that had been the case CBS would own the series now (it wouldn't be hard to imagine CN and later Boomerang acquiring the syndication rights to the series if it had been owned by Paramount in those days, since the show was produced during the days of Turner being an independent company).

You say that as if people want to revisit Fish Police.
