They should go all-out and kill Chloe from Smallville so I no longer have a reason to watch this network at ALL.

Veronica Mars is not gone; they said they might make the final decision after Upfront. Remember that next week's episode is being advertised as the season finale, not the series finale.

I SO hope that it has a chance, but it's looking very slim right now.

    Regarding Chris Lowell:

And Kim Raver is in yet another new show. It's not because of her dad that she can't see Jack Bauer; it's because she can't stop getting hired by other producers! STOP THAT!

Do you have an official press release for that? How can they cancel "Veronica Mars"? It's been so good this season. If CW gets rid of it, some other network should pick it up.

And also, what happened to "One Tree Hill"? Not that I really care, but that's also not listed.

If "Veronica Mars" is truly gone, all I'll have left on CW is "Smallville" which will probably only last another season.

What is with this network? It should never had been created in the first place! If not for "Smallville" I would boycott the entire network. NBC should pick up "Veronica Mars" to be a midseason replacement when all of their new shows fail.

hopefully veronica mars will be back in the winter/spring. they're always talking about how to make the show more accessible, cutting some episodes i guess could fix this "problem".

they advertised the lone gunmen as a season finale, and we all know how that turned out.

"Veronica Mars" had three seasons to gain an audience but could not.

Also, "One Tree Hill" will be back mid-season.

Can you blame her? As an actor on 24, you never know if your next paycheck could be your last!

Gilmore Girls, 7th Heaven, and Reba all had series fiales, so they offically aren't cancelled. They are series ended. When a series is cancelled, it doesn't have a series finale many a times.

Smallville and Friday Night SmackDown! continue to be the only reason I watch the CW, but ironically most of the shows CW will have now were brought over from UPN.

Does anyone else wish we still had separate WB and UPN networks? The CW is clearly going down the tube after only one year.

My first thought when I read this lineup was 'WB and UPN merged, and all I got was this crappy network'.

Well, I'm done with the CW. No more Beauty and the Geek or Smallville for me. Both shows are getting old anyway. If they can't keep one of the best shows on TV aroung (Veronica Mars) then I see no reason why I should wast any more time with this network.

Hopefully another network will be smart and pick up VM.

It's been a good run, and much as I liked the show, I think this has probably been its worst season, as they were jumping through too many hoops to pick up viewers.

It would be nice if The CW actually allowed some proper closure for Veronica. At this point there's not that many loose ends but I still would love a proper send off.

Though I do agree that this season tryed too hard to catch new viewers. At the expense of the characters and the great writing too.
