I believe someone said earlier in this topic that when they aired Kirby for the final time as a movie it was aired with limited commercials. Now I don't know if that's true as I did not see it but I do believe that was brought up already.

DUDE are you going to have a nervous break-down if this doesn't air uncut?

Enjoy what you get. Afterall it might be all you ever get of this movie.

And btw folks you can't "call" talkbacks. You just have to post them first.

    Yes.

That's my point. There is no DVD of this movie announced, and I have no idea what Viacom/Nick's track record for releasing DVDs is, so if it doesn't air uncut now there could be huge segments of the movie we don't get to see.

On top of this, it's the series finale for TMNT 2k3, as well as the emotional farewell tribute to almost every major TMNT canon from the last 25 years.

This is the last thing Mirage was in charge for, after this whatever becomes of Turtles could be totally different. You'd think 4kids would want to let the series go out with a bang.

You'd think 4kids would do something like dedicate an hour and a half for this...

C'mon, go easy on him. He's just afraid that the Turtles he's always known are gone. He wants this to be perfect, which I think is understandable (This is not the end of the Turtles, I think this sale is a good thing, but I understand his fears)

Well, it's nice to know if others are going to make one. I was going to make a talkback like I do for most of the shows on The CW4Kids, but if others are interested in making one, I won't bother. Though I thought it was implied James Harvey was going to make the talkback anyway.

Yeah, no kidding. I've never seen so much promotion for a single event on 4Kids. Which is kind of interesting, since 4Kids didn't really promote this at all prior to early November.

Well they still advertising it in the sense they they built up to it with the Blog and the top ten. Even if they did not start mentioning this movie on TV until then.

4kids has always been treating the Turtles like a big deal, remember the build up they did for the show before it aired. They are sending it out the same way they brought it in. With a bang.

WHAT! But I'm the official unofficial TMNT Talkback guy! You can't take the sky from me, Mr. Harvey!

    :p

Seriously though, I'm planning a fairly elaborate talkback, and I really don't want to post it only to find out that D Dubbs--who, as he notes, is the official unofficial Talkback starter guy for most of the 4Kids stuff--beat me to it.

    Three days left. Can't wait!

Jim's Note: The talkback is all yours, Ian!

Don't worry CyperCubed, Viacom is great at releasing DVDs, they release South Parks every year, once the next season starts. I am sure we could expect a release by the end of the year.

Yeah exactly. I won't be home to watch it either when it airs, since I'll be going to a show in the morning. So I'm DVR-ing it and it'll be ready for me when I get back home later on in the evening. That being said, I even plan to order a pizza to celebrate.:)

Yeah I have to be at school working on a project so I have my ancient relic (Er my VCR) set to record the movie.

So, this is the picture I'll most likely be using for the talkback banner. Given the dearth of high-quality images (at least, if I want to remain unspoiled) and my complete lack of image-editing software more advanced than Paint, I'm actually quite satisfied with it. Still, if anybody wants to create or recomend an alternate image, or tweak this one, feel free to do so; I'll take it into consideration when the talkback goes live sometime late today or early tomorrow.

So tomorrow is the big day, huh?

My entire childhood comes together for one final movie. I feel like I'm getting ready to go to a wedding.

This movie better live up to the hype.
