Well the anime just started so I thought I'd start a discussion for it. I haven't read much of the manga but it's really my only anticipated new anime of the spring 2011 season. I created this discussion for whatever the anime has covered so if you want to discuss manga material that hasn't aired as anime yet I suggest you start a manga discussion. Anyway I just watched the first episode (or second going by the official episode count), and despite the censoring from the manga, cutting out scenes, and more importantly squeezing three extra long chapters into one half-hour episode it was pretty darn good. I really feel like they're setting up an "epic romantic adventure story" along the vein of "Dragonball" and "One Piece", except with food and cooking. Unlike what I've read of the manga it this anime really gave off a more whimsical feeling, and I have to credit to the OST for that.
