-A new Power Puff Girls special
-The Fog of Courage special airing (albeit not on Cartoon Network, but a film festival)

Personally, this is the peak year for modern Cartoon Network. Live-action was already gone (except for some movies), we got great new additions like Clarence and Garden Wall with stuff like AT, RS, Steven and Gumball going strong. Adult Swim and Toonami also had some pretty good shows. There weren't many classics on CN's schedule, but the schedule was still fairly good and everything had some time to shine.

This where the network started to grow into the age that it's in as of today. I personally believe that this was/is a semi dark age especially because people like Vishnu were hired, those cringy CN Sayin bumpers started airing, and action shows were officially beginning to be taken to the dump (Ben 10 Omniverse burnoff). Then again, we got great things like Clarence and Over the Garden Wall, and this year was when Steven Universe started getting really good.

This is the year where the channel started making shifts in management, they stopped caring for Adventure Time and Regular Show to the point both shows would barely appear. Teen Titans Go flipped the table for Johnny Test. All in all it just began a new Era, with the next year making more changes.
