This is the voting thread for Round #3 (aka "The Sweet Sixteen") of the Toonzone's "Battle of the Brackets" tournament (for the "Giant Robot" conference - which will focus mostly on Toonami sci-fi/futuristic type shows)!

Voting is simple: Just post which of the two contestants of the day you find to be more awesome! Please, no editing your posts, once your vote is cast, help simplify things for me and don't change it. So be sure you are certain which one you want to vote for when you post! Feel free to debate it amongst yourselves for a while before casting your votes, but remember: each match runs no more than 24 hours!

As much as i love The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, I can't vote against Superman, which is probably a better show overall anyway.

Superman, sure was a good show in the 90s.

    Real Adventures of Johnny Quest.

Sure the Questworld CGI feels out of place and it was rerun way too much on Toonami, but I still consider it a better show than Superman TAS. It managed to feel more exciting, with actual If offscreen death, freakishly bizarre monsters and bad guys. Plus being on cable, it didn't have to deal with awkward flash cuts any times someone got hit. Also, the animation and music was better, creating an enthralling show.

I'll vote for Superman as well. It was a really great show and I remember having a lot of fun with watching reruns on Kids' WB. I do enjoy the Real Adventures of Johnny Quest and it might have aged well too, outside of the CGI quality, but I have clearer memories of Superman, so I'll give it my vote.

Megas XLR. Never really got the appeal of IBO. I think it's as dull and hard-to-follow as any other Gundam series.

Megas XLR. It was much more interesting with good action.

The best parody of Mecha anime series ever made, with affectionate humor, great voices, and so much dakka.

I do admit a bit of bias though - I am a bit annoyed with IBO for not using the Ocean Group. It just seems so off, like replacing the entire cast with new folks. Granted Gundam characters were different series to series, but being an old anime fan, I don't like new things.
