I like this line of thinking. Let's try to keep this Cinderella in the tournament. Fantastic Four for me.

I'll go with Fantastic Four as well. I have clearer memories of it than I do of Megas XLR and I never got into that series either.

    Star Wars: Clone Wars

Interesting match of 2 multimedia projects. .hack was an ambitious project at the time, tying 4 parts of a video game, 4 part OVA (that was included with the games), and an anime series. Any maybe manga.

But Clone Wars was a better tie-in. Not only was the arcs self contained to the miniseries, and thus not having to see the movies for closure, but it was well animated and better pacing.

.hack/sign was an atmospheric series, with beautiful visuals and music and interesting character. The problem was, it was dependent on the video games too much.

.hack//SIGN (Never saw the mini Clone Wars series) + Megas XLR (for the potential tie breaking win depending on others who missed)

I'll vote for Star Wars Clone Wars. It was a pretty well done micro series with some great visuals and action that made it engaging for me despite not being into the Star Wars franchise. I've heard good things about .hack//SIGN, but I've never seen it myself.
