    Nononononononononononononononononononononono!
This'll be worse than BIA! Atleast BIA had hand-drawn animation.

You know all that good work they're doing on resurrecting the Looney Tunes brand with a brand new show this fall?

Well, with this movie, they're going 20 steps backwards.

What are they smoking? What are they thinking? Have they not read all the negative criticism about The Smurfs and Yogi Bear? Have they not seen how poorly Rocky and Bullwinkle looked? Have they forgotten about the lackluster performance of Back in Action? Those that forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Also, um, hi, Cats and Dogs 2 was a bomb. Marmaduke was a bomb too.

Live-action isn't the answer for resurrecting animated brands. Wish the dopes at Time Warner will get it.

Why do Bugs and the rest of the Looney Tunes always have to be interacting with humans? Just give them their own animated movie. BIA wasn't too bad (certainly better than Space Jam), but I just don't get why the gang always has to be brought into the "real world" for their movies.

This cannot be happening! I mean, we all know Hollywood has a reputation of taking nostalgic things and turning them to crap. But THIS IS INEXCUSABLE!!!

The problem with this is that I can't see any real actors playing Elmer or Sam. The Looney Tunes themselves have rather rounded character designs, so they wouldn't look bad as CG - make an all-CG movie!

This isn't how you will regain the general public's interest in your cartoons, Warner.

Aren't they already working on a live action movie of Speedy Gonzales and Marvin the Martian? I mean seriously can't they wait until those 2 movies bomb so they can realize how stupid this is? Also having some doubts on who's working on these big companies, i can totally bet a monkey picking out his nose can pull better ideas than these guys.

Well, it's not in production yet. A thin hope, I know.

This fad of one-shot, lame cash-ins that Alvin and the Chimpmunks started really needs to die. None of the cartoonish antics that Bugs is famous for can possibly thrive well in this format.

It's not necessarily a given that a film would have to be closer to Yogi Bear than that Back In Action film. But yeah, given that live action/CG tidbit, hostility and suspicion are justified for now.

Incidentally, I hate the idea of rendering a traditionally 2D character into CG. Intellectually we all know it's a bloody cartoon walking and talking in the real world already, so play it straight if you're going to use an established character. Using CG to make that character look more "real" is counterintuitive.
