Tell us about things in media that you were afraid of when you were younger, no matter how silly it seems now. It can be anything, like shows, commercials, video games, etc.

I remember I used to be afraid of Olmec from Legends of the Hidden Temple.

When I was little I was terrified of Chucky the killer doll. He seems pretty campy now but to a little kid it was a frightening concept.

The hospital scene in Spider-man 2...sweet lord the hospital scene. Truth of it is, I haven't re-watched it since I first saw it because of it.

I remember watching Bucky O'Hare when I was about four and there was a scene where somebody (most likely a villain) got sucked into a machine. I was scared to use hand dryers for quite some time after that.

I remember being really afraid of the box cover and commercials for The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm not sure why exactly. Maybe it was because of how the scenery and characters looked creepy to younger me or I thought that the movie was scarier than it actually was because of the designs, but I remember being nervous to just look at the box covers. I didn't see the movie for a long time because of that. It's kind of weird considering I really do like the movie and try to watch it for both Halloween and Christmas, but something about it just scared me when I was little.

It always had to be the EAS weather alert, just listening to that beep just always felt like something bad was bound to happen or is happening.
