Given what Peter posted today, here's something else with Mayim Bialik- an unsold game show pilot. Hollywood Teasers- from Merrill Heatter, co-producer of The Hollywood Squares, this was a merger between Squares and a derivative he produced in 1985 titled All-Star Blitz (which ran only briefly on ABC Daytime; you may have seen the remake done by Greg "Greggo" Wicker at various conventions- mainly anime). She doesn't speak in this though, as it's a montage of clips from a full pilot (the guy who posted it, John Ricci Jr., has a ton of other game show stuff on his channel, and runs Wink Martindale's YouTube page). Not sure why it fell through, but the intended distributor, MCA TV, soon found something better to distribute- ExoSquad.

In keeping with my April Fools persona, here's the MiSTie classic Mr. B Natural in all its unriffed, unedited horror.

Phelous shares a rather odd remake of Eli Roth's Cabin Fever:

This clip of a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory telecast currently marks the closest I've come to watching the movie with Paramount's logo not plastered over by Warner's:

Before movies were sold on VHS, they were sold on Super-8. Since the reels were so small, runtime was severely limited. This is the Super 8 version of Star Wars. How does one condense a 2-hour movie into 18 minutes? Not very well.

There is also a Super 8 version of Empire Strikes Back that is two reels long and still missing the entirety of Hoth.

I once read about a Super 8 version of The Muppet Movie that cut out almost all of Doc Hopper's scenes, among other parts.

If I remember correctly they also (even more weirdly) kept in ALL the cameo segments, except for Cloris Leachman.

Here it is, watch while you can

This sure seems like an interesting format to watch Disney animation at home pre-VHS:

Fisher-Price still makes this viewer, but I'd feel surprised if that means you could get cartridges of "Queen Elsa Builds Her Palace" or "The Ocean Chooses Moana".

My alias doesn't have an i in it (as I pointed out before). I started using it at an age when misspelling things seemed cool.

That video is cool because they filmed it right before the San Francisco earthquake. After the quake, they filmed another pan down the same street to show how different it looked.

Apparently Fox and Kenner sold an abridged, silent version of Alien in a format portable for kids:

This is the legendary Tube Bar prank call reel, which inspired the running gag in The Simpsons' early seasons. More like ripped off...several of these are nearly identical to Bart's calls to Moe, except the language is saltier. Oh yeah, WARNING: SALTY LANGUAGE

This guy seriously falls for everything no matter how obvious. He fell for "Al Coholic." He fell for "Ben Dover."
