Lisa Simpson on Square One? Well, the voice of her anyway. That's a young Yeardley Smith in the Mathnet segment.

That guy has 81 Square Ones spread over two accounts. He filled in the missing piece of my childhood.

Aw.....I just found out Dixie Square Mall was finally, definitely crushed to dust in 2012. I'm gonna miss all the photos and eyewitness accounts from people who ventured into there.

    In memoriam:

I have a ton of teletext and Prevue Guide footage, but I've never felt a need to upload any of it because YouTube is drowning in them as it is. This one's interesting; it turns out Prevue Guide ran on an Amiga (yes, the kind you could find at the store). This is the evidence: when Amiga computers crashed, they flashed some red text that said "Guru Meditation" among other things. Here's Prevue Guide doing the same.

Though the video feed is still there, the schedule is broken and running data for the wrong city.

    More Prevue Guide fails:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkNkELr6fks (no schedule; you can turn it off after ten seconds)

Prevue Guide System Reboot at 3 minutes in:

The most glitched Prevue Guide of them all:

For a few years after I learned about the difference between widescreen and pan and scan/fullscreen, I couldn't remember how exactly I learned it, as if I just developed the knowledge naturally. Eventually, though, I realized it might have had to do with watching this on TV as a child:

It would also have explained why I abruptly stopped watching our videotapes of 1950s Rodgers and Hammerstein movies...

It couldn't happen to me. It had to happen to some guy calling himself "Okchief420."

Right out in the open, a 360 and a PS3 kiosk. You wouldn't need to "dumpster dive" to see them; anyone could have found those the way they were right there.

Come to think of it, the thought never occurred to me that video game shops would be replacing their kiosks last fall. Some shops will give you used-up displays if you call dibs and leave your name and E-mail with the manager. Wonder if it works with kiosks. I hate to think that thousands of these faced the same fate this one almost did.

Someone just dumped this video in the comment section of an unrelated article. No idea why.

Now I feel it's my duty to spread it further.

I've mentioned that short several times before, I've made a TZ blog post, it was mentioned in one of CR's Familiar Faces episodes.

Okay, so this is my first time posting in one if these threads, so I don't know how suitable this is. I wouldn't call it NSFW, cuz it's not like nudity, but like there's some foul language, so I guess don't watch this at work unless you're ready for it:

A gallery of fake websites from Law and Order. It is nonstop hilarity for three minutes.

My favorite is "Persecute-U," the revenge-for-hire site with a college-themed design.
