    What the heck did that guy think would happen with just holding the Turkey and not having it in a cage or pen? Not smart, funny, but not smart.

    I almost forget Bill Nye was on that show.

    Bad habit I guess:sweat::p

    How about some more annoying:

    ^I believe this is what TV Tropes called a Ear Worm not to be confused with a Mind Worm; but at the end of the day what's the difference?

    Reminds me of Disney's The Sword in the Stone [does some research] which he worked on. Here's another music video with Don Bluth's animation:

    You know what I hate? All the people in the comments who say "That was great, I wasn't born yet!" >_<

    Matt was donated a six-hour tape of the Super Mario Super Show a few years back and he shared much of the ads with everyone during one of the first Advent Calendars. That Pepsi/Mario promotion was there, and so was an ad for the Simpsons Christmas Special (it hadn't aired yet) that claimed it would "change the face of television forever!" Wow, how many ads have actually said that and been right?

    Ooh, is that still available?...

    EDIT: Nevermind, I just found it using X-E's search function. While it didn't claim that it would "change the face of television forever", it did claim that they were coming to "save the 90's", equally eerily prophetic...

    EDIT: Watched it again, and holy crap! They did say it would "change the face of television forever"! The crappy sound quality must have made me skip it. That's just...weird...

    I never thought this would show up on YouTube, an episode of a rarely seen anime from 1971, produced by TMS, Chingo Muchabei.

    Yes, this show was made in black and white, which led to the show's short lifespan (only 5 weeks).

    The character design looked familiar and sure enough it's Range Murata.

    The existence of this ad has been confirmed. I thought my memories were mistaken, but they did claim they'd be airing a Road Rovers with new footage to replace the "Sonovovitch" debacle -- footage that never appeared. The ep was the same, only with the Russian song clipped out.

    While there's a lot of goodies from that (Office Space TV spot, Simpsons "Super Bowl Spectacular" [really the utterly crappy "Sunday, Cruddy Sunday"] and Peter and Brian's post-game talk during the credits), I'd really love to see promos for the series itself. I'd have to imagine that the focus was heavy on Stewie and Brian. When I got into the series in 2000, I still remember that the marketing was very Stewie-centered. Somewhat surprisingly, after ten years, a three year hiatus and a complete character change from diabolical schemer to blatant closeted homosexual, the marketing still focuses on Stewie...as a diabolical schemer. :shrug:

    EDIT: (refers to above post) I must feel like an idiot for never knowing there was a "Mother Goose and Grimm" animated series. Please tell me this is obscure so I can feel better...

    2ND EDIT: Wow, I can't believe how much of an imitation of "Garfield and Friends" that was.

    It only lasted one season in 1991. So yeah, odds are the strip's readers are unaware of the series.

    As for it being an imitation of Garfield and Friends, look at the credits. Specificially, the fact that it was written by Mark Evanier.
