The Square bundle may be coming back after they sort out the issues they had with SC2 keys (people were getting keys for SC1), but that will be the end of the deal when they run out this time.

to make up for the sellout though, Amazon has another deal.
It may not be active yet, but it is coming.

DVG store link to see what they offer.

A good 3DS preorder deal right now: Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for $30 instead of the usual $40 on Amazon. Also $30 is Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?, though interestingly enough it sure seems as though this is the normal price and not a special sale (Newegg lists it for this too).

Also, through the 14th Gamestop is doing a promotion for PS3 HD collections. Half off is a big discount I doubt we'll see beaten during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales blitz. You will need to have a PowerUp Rewards account for this.

A new Humble Bundle is up and it's a bit different than the previous times. Rather than being "indie" games, game publisher THQ is taking the reigns for this one and offering a number of their more-popular games for whatever price you choose to donate. Give above the average and you get Saints Row 3 added; and as always, give over $1 and you get Steam codes for all bundle items. You also get the full soundtracks with your games as an added bonus.

There's also a number of Sega-based Steam deals out there from Amazon. A Dreamcast Pack for PC (Steam required) is available for $5. This includes the recently-released Jet Set Radio in case you were thinking about purchasing it for the normal $9.99 price.

Also available is a bundle including all the Sega Genesis Classic Game Packs (5 packs total, 9 games in each pack I believe) for $5. For that one there is a Steam version and also a DRM-free non-Steam version.

All the games in the pack (spoiler tagged due to length)

The Steam Holiday Sale is on.

I have such an absurdly huge Steam backlog (and I've been playing a bunch of MW:O) I think I can resist this one but if FTL goes on a half or above off flash sale I'm picking it up.

Sega is holding a sale right now, and the highlights of the sale IMO are Sonic 4 Ep 1, Sonic 4 Ep 2, and Sonic CD for $0.99 each on iOS and Android. There are also deals for PSN and XBLA. Here is the link to their blog highlighting the deals.

Don't forget Pokemon Black and White 2 on sale for an unprecedented $15 bucks each. Chances are you'll never, EVER, find deals that good on a main Pokemon game, used or otherwise.

Steam is holding a massive indie game sale until the 29th with discounts up to 80% off.

Some personal favorites of mine are on sale including:

Super Meat Boy (use a controller or be the best keyboard player ever. Can be frustrating, but really rewarding once you beat a level)
Hotline Miami (8-bit-styled top-down game with high violence and amazing soundtrack)
FTL: Faster Than Light (Awesome game. You will die a lot. Can be extremely fun, but frustrating as you try and navigate your spaceship in a deadly race against time)
The Binding of Issac (Think Link to the Past, but with random dungeons and creepy weird levels of violence. Another game where you will die a lot)
Limbo (2D platformer with really neat design aesthetics. Creepy, but not overly violent by any means)
Mark of the Ninja (Amazingly fun 2D stealth platformer)

A lot of these games have been cheaper at previous times (I do believe nearly all of them have been part of a Humble Bundle at one point or another), so you're free to wait, but all of them are quite fun.

Speaking of Humble Bundle, they're recently launched a new weekly feature where once a week, a new game follows the same format of their regular bundles. Pay what you want and get a game DRM-free copy of a game that will work on Windows, Mac and Linux. Depending on what you pay, there's various incentive levels. This week's game is the really fun Bastion. The narrator is reason alone to get this game for me. As long as you spend more than $1 you get a key for activating the game on Steam (the key lets you play on Windows, Mac or Linux versions as well since Steam is available on all of those various operating systems). At that price it is a ridiculous bargain considering what it is currently going for on Steam.

Hmm. Through May 6th Steam has a sale on every Tomb Raider game for $35, including the new one. You need some impressive specs for the new game to look as good on the PC as it would on a console, but it's still a tempting offer either way.

Save 50% on Tomb Raider Collection on Steam

The Humble Bundle Weekly sale is back and their new bundle is Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare.

The bundle as always is pay-what-you-want and if you pay more than $1, the bundle includes keys to add both games to Steam. Both games also include soundtrack downloads for that cost and Alan Wake is the Collector's Edition, which includes a lot of extra content in addition to DLC levels.

This bundle is Windows-only though, the major difference from typical Humble Bundles which would include Windows, Mac and Linux versions. The previous THQ bundle had done this as well.

A new Humble Bundle for Android debuted yesterday and it has a good mix of games. As always, you pay what you want and get an assortment of games. The bundle says it's for Android, but as is typically the case, you get the Windows, Mac and Linux versions of the game as well. Pay more than $1 and you get Steam keys for the games. Pay more than the average (currently less than $5) and you get some additional games as well. On top of all that, you get the soundtracks for the games as well.

I can't really give any recommendations for most of the games, but I have played the original Stealth Bastard and enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to trying the Deluxe version now.

Just remember, unless it's a daily sale item or a flash sale, don't buy anything on sale until the last day of the sale. Normal sale prices and daily/flash sale prices can vastly differ, so you can save a lot of money by waiting it out if you don't need it immediately.

Also Newegg has a wired Xbox 360 controller for sale for only $25 with promo code EMCXNWW79 from now until the 7/17. Free shipping too. It also works on the PC and is probably one of the best wired controllers you can get for your computer if you have a lot of games that require a controller or just work better with them. Well-worth it at that price.
