^ This happened when Rugrats was on Netflix as well.
Yeah, I was confused too when that happened.
I remembered in mid 2000s when All Growed Up one hour aired on Nickelodeon it used All Grown Up theme but in 2001-2003 I believe it used Rugrats theme
It could always be a post airing event that its treated as an All Grown Up episode.
Not sure how long it will be available in the U.S. (EDIT: Okay, now it's geoblocked.), but the first season of Rugrats has been uploaded to YTV's YouTube channel.
This is just me, but something doesn't quite strike right about that. A couple concerns is that the page isn't verified, plus being in the U.S., I'd of thought I'd be blocked from watching something in a different country even if Canada - and yes, I know this is on YouTube where some codes may be different. Additionally, even if those Rugrats episodes are from 1991, the max quality that I can at most get is 480 is still seems rather low - I have seriously seen better quality on my tv. Call me a denier I guess but it feels fishy to me. If it's legit, then cool.
Imo it's very legit.
Their page has links to their social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Instagram, to be exact), so it looks legit to me.
It should be noted that this channel should not be confused with YTV Direct, which used to be called Nelvana Retro.
That is YTV's official YouTube channel. Nelvana, their sister company, held distribution rights to pretty much all Nicktoons pre-2006. They've been streaming Invader Zim and Hey Arnold for years:
IIRC, Nelvana also operates some Fairly Odd Parents channels with full episodes.
Here, you go. From the verified account:
It's probably because Corus (YTV's owner) holds the distribution rights (not just broadcast) to Nickelodeon shows in Canada. The same reason why Nick shows are also available on Netflix in Canada.
"As the sole Canadian rights holder of Nickelodeon's robust catalogue of current content and library titles, Corus has the exclusive rights to distribute digital content in Canada. Nickelodeon's current lineup can be found on Corus' Kids Networks YTV and Nickelodeon (Canada)."
I've checked and as of now, youtube updated terms and it says it's not available in this country USA. That video might be restricted and it's only for Canada users I think..
Yeah, I tried watching Rugrats on their channel, and it said that "The uploader has not made this video available in your country".
They're not available in the UK, either.
Blocked everywhere outside of Canada https://polsy.org.uk/stuff/ytrestrict.cgi?ytid=7Rkci5IMq8E
man that sucks i cant access it in US
That's very unfortunate that this deal is only restricted to Canada, I suppose.
It's probably because Rugrats is already available on NickSplat
They're also not available in countries without NickSplat. It must just be a Canada only thing.
Season 2 so far is open in the US

Seems that only first two episodes of season 2 just added, but I wouldn't be surprised much later that it will later get restricted outside of Canada....
