Go here : http://www.joshreads.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=242&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 and look at the "Level Path" strips on the top of the page. I do NOT get this strip at all,,is it supposed to be funny? dramatic? WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE? This makes the "Bears in Love" strips on MartianInvader's page look like "Sherman's Lagoon" by comparison.

The things syndicates buy, and the things they ignore, makes me steamed. Keep in mind they had to sift through over a thousand strip ideas, one of them mine, to choose this one. THIS. ONE.

I still think Bears In Love is worse than Level Path, though. Picture Level Path only the characters are all cutesy bears....see? Worse!

Yikes is all I can say about Level Path. What I'd like to know is if Snuffy Smith or Tumbleweeds were ever funny because I've read them both on various occasions throughout my life and never laughed once.

^ About one in eight 'Tumbleweeds' strips is funny, I'd say (my paper doesn't get 'Snuffy Smith'.)

But I can't tell whether 'Level Path' is supposed to be funny or not.

I laugh at Snuffy Smith almost every time. Maybe it helps if you're a hillbilly.

Man, Level Path is dull. The link provided h contains a link to the creator's website. He's stark raving born again! Now, i have nothing against religious people, being one myself, but DAMN that guy needs to tone it down a notch and put more effort into giving his series a point. and I HAVE seen religious strips that managed to both have a point, and be funny.

Garfield has been poisining our newspapers for decades.
Why to people find this amusing day after day?
It's just a stupid cat...being ever so SLIGHTLY sarcastic.

I always thought Garfield was one of those "used to be good" comics. I have a book collection of the early years somewhere, back when it had Lyman, and I remember one humorous story where he punched a female cat and sent her flying just because she ate some of his food.

Keep in mind that "Level Path" is web only and is not in any newspapers. And I'm hoping that it won't last.

Hey, "Meet the Ings", which was also a web-only strip on comics.com, didn't last.

That just makes me want to vomit. And not in the way it's supposed to make me want to vomit either.

I'm having trouble working out what's going on in Faithmouse. Is that a microphone being held up to John Kerry? A plate with crumbs on it? What's the hand holding? Is that John Kerry?

I can't tell what's going on with John Kerry either(what a bad drawing). My guess: it's a commentary on his claiming to be Catholic, yet being soft on abortion....there's no doubt what the right side of the cartoon is about.

Oh, he's praying. So his eyes are just closed, not puil-less. Thought the artist was just trying to make him look like some kind of zombie.

The topic titles was so misleading. I thought Zorak Masaki was talking ab out the Family Circus.

^ You can always tell what's going on in the Mary Worth strip, whatever else can be said about it.
