I'm honestly going to enjoy the backlash this gets (especially from people who shouldn't be watching either show, honestly.) - this is one of those instances where it is best to let the world burn.

Honestly, the flack this will get from everyone prior to the release is going to be worse than the actual product itself. Even if it ends up being terrible.

Also, in all fairness the Uncle Grandpa thing was just a 2-minute short and only a tiny handful of the characters in the crowd even got a line (all of which were current ones anyway), so I kind of get why they wouldn't feel the need to promote that.

I'm predicting that this special will be so-so at worst. That won't matter though because people are going to complain about this anyway solely because it's these two shows.

The Uncle Grandpa thing didn't feel like a proper crossover. Most of those characters didn't get a line and it was just one big joke about Uncle Grandpa winning all the awards, including awards those shows should have won. I haven't even watched much of anything else from UG, and I could tell it was more part of the episode than anything else. Plus, doesn't Uncle Grandpa have some pretty wacky powers anyway? Wouldn't it make some sense that he could gather CN characters together? So it doesn't seem odd to me that CN didn't promote it more than they would any other UG episode.

As for the TTG/PPG crossover, I doubt many will be looking forward to it. To me, though, it just makes the trainwrecks that are the two shows even more fascinating.

While I actually like the PPG reboot, I am not expecting this to be good. This reminds me of the Steven Universe-Uncle Grandpa crossover, which was a show I like crossing over with a show I don't like. I didn't like what came out of that and it's the same situation here. I'll watch it, but I'm not expecting much out of it.

To be honest, a Gumball/Powerpuff Girls crossover would have been better than this abomination.

The fact alone that this is even going to exist is kind of hilarious.
It's almost like the creators of the shows know both their shows are hated reboots and are doing this to annoy people further. On the other hand, it could be great! A crossover that actually shows people these two cartoons are really worth watching through one episode.
Only time will tell, but I'm definitely watching it no matter what reception it gets.

Also just realised, this is probably going to be really awkward for Tara Strong isn't it? :p

This would've been better-----had it been done 11 years ago.

And like most crossovers the outside characters designs change, I hate it when that happens.

A crossover when both were still in their prime? Yes.
