FOP was originally suppose to have a theatrical film, but Nick chickened out in the end. Considering the quality of the animation and story, I believe Abra-catastrophe was suppose to have been that film.

I remember about it as well.

I wouldn't mind the movie ending up being the series finale since by the time film comes out, the series would probably have three to four more seasons giving a total of 5-6 seasons, which would be a good amount of seasons for the show before it suffers seasonal rot.

Incredible, Loud House managed to now get a movie this quick. Though not as fast as South Park did in its second year. It is exiting to hear Loud House is getting a movie, may the date come and the show still continues to do well, and hopefully it does much better than that Hey Arnold film.

Well I guess the series will have new episodes up to 2020, about 4 or 5 seasons.

This is looking like this show's chance to cement itself into a seat of greatness not easily attained by anyone.
I admit to having some misgivings with this show, but this is some damn epic news, indeed.
Now, as I play the waiting game for more information leading up to open night - Here's hoping more than anything it doesn't turn out like that forgettable / unremarkable Hey Arnold! film... Then I'll believe this show truly has made it to the big time - and is worthy of being there, rather than just one more thing I find... rather overrated.

I did a search and I don't think it was Abra-Catastrophe. I found an article about the movie from 2003 that was published a month after Abra-Catastrophe aired. It even mentions Abra-Catastrophe, saying how well it did.

I don't know what the story was supposed to be, but it's possible it wasn't adapted into a TV movie afterwards.

I think the movie was supposed to be about Timmy wishing for everyone in the world having Fairy Godparents of their own.

That would've been a disaster to animate.

This is quite unexpected, but definitely appropriate. It'll be interesting to see what type of story will be utilized.

With the way the animation was in Abra-Catastrophe, it looked like it was meant for theaters. The plot was perfect for it as well. But a wish for every kid to have godparents would've made a pretty good story as well.

Why is everyone here bashing on the new Hey Arnold movie?

I don't see anyone bashing on it. One person commented on how the one that was released in theaters was forgettable/unremarkable, but that's it, and it wasn't even about the new one.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the other Hey Arnold film...

Would it be in CGI, normal ToonBoom Harmony, HAND-DRAWN, or Live-Action?

Is TLH popular enough overseas to be a hit? SpongeBob is, but The Loud House definitely isn't (at least in the UK). Nick, CN and Disney Channel aren't the main kids channels over here.

This was unexpected. I wouldn't be surprised by a TV movie, but a theatrical movie? Maybe I should actually watch this show.

    YEEEESS!!!
I knew from the start that this series would become a hit! But I never expected a full-length film out of it.
    But I'm so happy nonetheless.

Congratulations to Chris Savino and the cast and crew on this epic endeavor in the Loud House franchise!

Are you referring to the ones in the US or from where you live at?
