    The last Mr. Rogers, huh? And it aired mere days before 9/11. Truly, the end of innocence.

    Yeah, this is exactly what I expected--that he wouldn't do anything special or even mention it was his last one; he'd just treat it like a normal show. I wouldn't expect him to embrace DVDs either after having the mailman bring him videotapes for decades. I'm kinda shocked they mentioned the existence of Photoshop.

    Seriously? That's not right! It's an institution! Word Girl is NOT one! Keep him on, and not at 6 am either!

    If Mr. Rogers is fair game then so is anything else in permanent repeats. Reading Rainbow's days are also numbered, I guess.

    I didn't know he was being dropped nationwide; KRMA stopped airing Mr. Rogers years ago.

    Thanks. And yes being shortly before 9/11 is ironic. I don't know why I'm comparing. It may be the end of an era, but 9/11 was a true tragedy.
