FOX has "mystery" dates for specific Marvel films. So while they didn't name Deadpool 2, I think we pretty much know what they are up to.

So apparently The Flash movie could be delayed after all if a suitable director isn't found in time for the scheduled start of filming in early 2017.

Kiersey Clemons will still be Iris West though since she's supposed to appear in Justice League.

At this point, that Batman solo is the only movie I'm sure is going to happen at this point .

I dont fear that Flash will ever get made, but I don't see this DCEU connective universe having legs. That is unless they can't get their act together. They already bypassed all villains (with exception of top two Lex and Joker) to get Darkseid. So no Ra's Al Ghul, Vandall Savage, or anyone else. Just go directly to the major JL villain.

They delayed BvS to begin with and moved up WW and so on. I'm not that shook up about Flash possibly being delayed.

Well, at least Aquaman seems to still be on-track (as far as we know).

My theory for all the rumors of behind the scenes turmoil in the assorted DC movies. Assuming they're all true. Especially when "creative differences" are the cited reason for why two directors have dropped out.

Is it possible that WB is dictating the filmmakers of what to do in these movies, to emphasize the shared cinematic DCU? The solo movies are already handicapped because the people making them have to figure out how to make it work, instead of simply just making the movie. If they are being told what to do and not to do, then just get any person who will do what they're told. It couldn't be any worse than what we've seen so far.

But I think I know what REALLY is going on here. WB wants BATMAN in The Flash solo movie. The now dismissed director(s) said no. Because they're not playing ball, especially when it comes to BATMAN, they "drop out" from the film.

I will move on with BATMAN being crammed down my throat if there is a scene in the Justice League movie where Aquaman easily defeats Batman in a brawl (because he can). The same goes for the solo Aquaman film too.

Ezra Miller says Flash will continue to be a "hero in training":

    http://m.ign.com/articles/2016/11/17/the-flash-solo-movie-will-feature-an-amateur-hour-barry-allen

I don't think I mentioned this before, but it seems WB really wants to combine Barry Allen and Wally West. I wasn't a huge fan of the comic, but I read Wally's 90's comic mostly having read some pre-Crisis Barry. I feel the best interpretation of Barry may have been the 90's tv series. A second choice to Young Justice Barry. Even JL/JLU kept his identity secret for awhile, yet his young characterization had fans guess he was indeed Wally West. The new Flash series outright Barry, but his youthful look and mannerisms almost suggest he's Wally. For some reason I feel like there is some kinda misinterpretation at the Studio of who he is. If Barry acts like a young goofy teenager/college young adult, then how will we differentiate him from Wally, when he is introduced?

Be funny if they could actually find an actor who looks shorter next to Miller to be his Kid Flash :p.

Warner hired Joby Harold to do a page-one rewrite of the script.

No, the term is misleading. It's a whole new draft. It's usually done when the premise and/or cast are good but the overall draft is not good for whatever reason. Or it would be starting from scratch. So it's kinda bad news. It would be okay news, if it were a 'polish' instead of a page one. But you never know, sometimes great movies come from an unproduceable first draft like Ghostbusters '84.

Well, amidst the loss of two directors, I guess it's not surprising we're seeing another go-over at the script .

I'm surprised Kevin Smith isn't busting into the production office to apply.
