Me too, though from what I've read he seems pretty recent as a Rogue, if not New 52 recent.
Not bad. Can't believe there's still over a month until it premieres.
Dominic Purcell has been cast as Heat Wave.
After his Prison Break brother was cast as Captain Cold? Nice. The casting people must be having fun.
Pretty neat casting with Heat Wave .
So that confirms him as a Rogue... I wonder if any of the rest will also end up being played by Prison Break alumni ?
The creators said they do intend to eventually introduce Wally West down the line, and that making Iris and her parents black was a deliberate step towards that.
So it seems like the reason, or at least part of it, for changing the West's race was to match Wally's New 52 race-change? Of course, more race diversity in the cast was likely a factor as well, which I can appreciate even if I'm usually not fond of changing a characters race. I at least hope that when Wally does pop up, he's more like pre-New 52 Wally than New 52 Wally .
And with Ollie finally getting his sidekick, I'd hope this means we might get to see Kid Flash in live-action as well. Though they'd probably call him Impulse instead .
Also, a character from the Flashpoint comic by Geoff Johns named Farooq/Blackout will be showing up as a villain:

Edit: Amanda Pays will be reprising her role as Dr. Tina McGee from the original live-action Flash show:

Robbie Amell confirms Mo-Cap for Firestorm and shows a glimpse of how he gets his powers:

The only real question mark is the lack of Martin Stein. I wonder if he won't be who Ronnie ends up fused with or if Flash's version Firestorm won't be fused with anyone?
Multiplex will be in Episode 4.
Interesting that they're incorporating another Firestorm villain into the show, with Plastique already confirmed and the possibility of Caitlin becoming Killer Frost .
I agree with the person who posted that news story, "The Red Streak" brings up bad Smallville memories and I hope the general populace gets to calling Barry The Flash sooner rather than later. And hopefully not until season 2 like for Arrow .
Pied Piper will appear as an ex protege of Wells. And yes he will be gay like he is in the comics.
I expected that would be the case if he ever turned up in the series, and I think I read a Greg Berlanti interview where he mentioned it, and of course his current partner in the comics, Barry's boss, is also in the series .
The costume in the 90's CBS show looks better than that patched together Daredevil suit
No, it really didn't. It was way too thick looking.
At least it wasn't afraid to have the actual Flash look
This show isn't either. I don't know how anyone could look at that costume and say that's not the Flash. It's no bigger a liberty taken than your average comic book movie.
I saw the promo last night and the Flash suit looks fine to me. Honestly, I think you're just looking for reasons to hate on DC now.
Yeah aside from changing the color of the boots and making the suit a darker hue, it really does not look terribly different from the one in the books. Certainly not to the extent that one could reasonably claim "DC is scared of using the Flash's look". In fact darkening the colors and changing the material happens in pretty much every live-action comic production I can think of.
While the suit has honestly grown on me, I'm still a little iffy on it. I think it looks great in motion and when Flash is running, but otherwise I think there are just elements to the design that I'm not fond of. Overall, I just think it look a lot better than it does, like that recolor of it that made it look more like a Flash costume several pages back .
I also think the John Wesley Shipp live-action suit looked pretty good, but that's just me .
