It can be frustrating when any show, or movie franchise for that matter, gets cancelled before specific story arcs are completed. Whether you like Spider-Man Unlimited or not, it had/has its fans and it's annoying that the story it was trying to tell never got resolved. The same can definately be said about Silver Surfer, that series end up with the Surfer possibly being destroyed by Thanos. I think at the time it was worse because Marvel were quite big with their ongoing stories. Many 80s cartoons were cancelled but it didn't seem too bad because they were often 'stories of the week'. Dungeons and Dragons would be similar, technically the kids didn't get home. Although their fate was shown in The Girl who Dreamed Tomorrow. I'm eagerly awaiting its DVD release in the UK, hopefully it'll come out after Spider-Man: TAS has finished. Was it great? No. Was it good? I think so.
