New JLU toys from mattel link

wow wow, the best mattel has done in all 3 seasons of toys. Copper heads head sculpt is great im going to use that on my 2dtoys.com, copy of copperhead. Lex Luthor is ausome man, well done, Im probably going to do a head switch into the one witha suit with the new head. He is just so ausome, maybe he could be a little darker, but he looks good. Steel is alright, supergirl is horrible. DR LIGHT is perfect. I didnt see vixen coming out tho

Fear not, Mattel has fixed her up from her cardback prototype picture.

    Supergirl

I think she looks great now! No skirt, but that just makes her better custom fodder. I'm gunna make me some JLU Dee Dees out of her.:D As soon as I can find her and afford the extras.;)

Nah, not yet. The first batch of the next wave of three packs (Justice Lords, GL Corps, and Legion of Doom) are starting to pop up sporatically, along with sinlge carded Supergirl and Steel.

Dr. Light won't be until the next wave of three packs, I'm guessing more towards Febuary, but don't quote me on that.

Just in case any of you are still looking for a Black Canary figure, I noticed this morning that the BC three-pack is on Amazon.com now...

I hate to break it to you but I just got the new Supergirl and she is really short and tiny. To put it in perspective she is shorter than the Hasbro Tim Drake Robin figure. She is completely out of scale with the other figures. I mean, she is barely taller than the die-cast JL figs. The Mattel Batgirl dwarfs her when you stand them next to each other. I think you'll agree when you get your hands on one that she would not make a good custom for Dee Dee.

    Oh dear god! That's absurd!

Someone tell me why when Mattel finally tries to alter the size of a figure to be in proper scale, they get it way too short?

    Damned monkeys.

Lol. Yeah I agree with you. I hate to say it, but I think the Jack in the Box Supergirl is still the best representation of the character, and she's in scale. Go fig.

Now see, I think the JitB version is a bit on the short size (but a good sculpt, in spite of the one bad arm). If the Mattel version is even smaller... AGH!!! Just once I'd like to not have to fix these things!

Yup, once again Mattel drops the ball in the details department. How does this stuff get okayed. Mattel must really be lax in quality control.
