Up for grabs?
This is an easy one but oh well.
"...The Queen of England"
I'm guessing Red Claw in The Lion and the Unicorn.
Not what I'm looking for. Later, if no one gets it I'll reveal the whole quote.
"If he's Batman, than I'm the Queen of England."?
Two Face responding to Hugo's revelation in "The Strange Secret of Bruce Wayne?
I thought Two Face said "King".
He did. I think DL was just having a stab in the dark. As for the quote it has got to be Alfred as I just can't imagine anyone else saying it, but then I've been known to be wrong.... quite often.
Um.........DL's right. I was for sure he said queen not king.
It was a stab in the... dark. But since there's a little debate on its correctness (my photographic memory doesn't apply to every sound, unfortunately, let's make the next one up for grabs.
"Go to... ".
I know, incredibly easy.
BTW why would your photographic memory help you with sounds?
SUPERMAN from TWILIGHT.
Up for grabs.
This is probably also an easy one:
"I meant penicillin!"
Okay, maybe not so easy. I'll lengthen the quote:
"Did I say laughter? I meant penicillin!"
The quote is from a crossover episode of some sort. If that doesn't work, I'll post the answer.
Argh...I'm sure it's from one of the Batman/Static Shock crossover episodes, but I can't remember which one!
The Big League?
Gasp.....M'ral.........can't........remember! The World is coming to an end!
I'll venture a guess and say Hard as Nails.
a LEAUGE OF THEIR OWN PART 1
Detective, you have the right episode. Normally, you need to say the character and context, but this one seems to have been a stumper, so it's all yours.
(BTW, it was Harley Quinn. She just told Nails that "As a licensed therapist, she knows that laughter is the best medicine." Nails, obviously not appreciating her humor, gives her a threatening approach, and Harley quickly amends by saying "Did I say laughter? I meant penicillin!")
Here's one that may be difficult because they never show the episode:
"Well, you didn't say he woulddie, exactly."
The rules for the Quote Quizes is that whoever got the correct answer goes next. As I understand it, if that person doesn't post within the next 36 hrs, then it's supposed to be up for grabs. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
Bottom line: it's The Detective's turn.
