Yeah. Same with 2012. The DCEU even started with just one movie in a year in 2013. If they slow down the amount of movies they're releasing to improve on quality and getting any issues sorted behind the scenes, I'm happy. I don't want them to rush out these movies if they can do a better job taking their time.

There really is no rush, if they're trying to compete with Marvel. Just do your own thing DC and make it enjoyable. :)

Even Kevin Smith politely said he was doubtful he would.

Considering what happened the last time he was approached to tackle a DC film (and heck, what they're doing now), it's understandable why he'd be skeptical.

Yeah, I wouldn't support that petition either. I'd have someone who is ready to direct a superhero film than someone who has been critical of superhero films.

To be fair, even though Snyder's films have been divisive, one thing many people agree on is that Batman's portrayal in BvS was actually really solid (aside from murdering criminals). Remember the warehouse fight scene? Imagine a film filled with scenes like that. Could be cool.

Yeah, it could be cool. Don't get me wrong, I thought the warehouse fight was great in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

That being said, I don't want a bunch of great fight sequences. I want a great story as well and I would prefer a take on Batman from someone who hasn't touched the character yet. Someone fresh and new rather than Snyder again.

Boy would I kill for part of the movie to have him go into an undercover disguise mode to investigate a case. Doesn't have to be Matches Malone.

If it's Bruce Wayne undercover, why shouldn't it be Matches Malone :anime:?

WB should build a writers group like Paramount did for Transformers. If they can't get a producer to shepherd then a group of writers. Ehhh, who knows.

As rumored before, a Forbes contributor reports the Joker and a few others were in the script along with Deathstroke as the villain but after Suicide Squad's final cut - Leto was displeased and well.

It's also getting a page 1 rewrite. Which suggests Deathstroke may get nixed possibly. Ugh

Gods forbid they should consider recasting the Joker.

Well that 1/2 of the battle done. Let's just hope the execs are happy enough not to meddle.
