    James:

Better look at that cover again. Looks more like a cross between Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors, and shoving Lady Thor and Capt. Falcon down the readers' throats. Not digging. Yet.

Let's not forget the Uncanny Inhumans preview as the back-up. Has possibilities.

Given that the Avengers have at times consisted of such stalwart members as the Swordsman, D-Man, Thunderstrike and U.S. Agent, it really doesn't matter. Having a massively shifting roster is the hallmark of the franchise.

Anyway, fun read, but I found it slightly annoying that there were little hints to the new status quo without really explaining anything. Though I did like the line about Sam owning T-shirts older than Ms. Marvel.

Yeah, this should be post-Secret War right? What hints did they give in the book by chance?

There's a reference to the Avengers being a little more fly by night because according to Miles "We don't have Stark money anymore" and apparently Steve Rogers did something that has him on the outs. Vision also says his power cells don't replenish as fast or efficiently as they used to, so I'm guessing he gets injured or damaged in Secret Wars.

Huh, so either the new Iron Man is definitely not Tony or he's an AU Tony that wouldn't have access to 616's money, or even our Tony has lost it all post-Inversion :ack:.

I guess that means the Avengers are going to have to self-fund themselves now...which is probably a big issue when you've got three teenagers on a team, an android who probably doesn't have or need an income, FalCap and Female Thor's ambiguous salary, and whoever Iron Man is .

I wonder if no Stark money means no Avengers Tower? Maybe they'll go back to the Mansion :)?

Definitely a lot more curious to see what happens to Steve during Secret War .

I found this pretty decent for what it was, which is basically a small appetizer for the new team. The real soul of it is what goes on with the younger group of Ms Marvel / Spidey / Nova, that whole bit with them putting saving one person first and expecting to be chewed out only to be praised by Falcon Cap for their good character. The older group was basically there to hit stuff, okay. Fair enough, it's Avengers, things have to be hit.

The issue also raises questions about what's up with the team situation and answers none, all the better to motivate readers to jump in. Iron Man pretty obviously isn't Tony. Betting that Superior Iron Man was dreamed up to justify changing the character.

Where the heck are the Young Avengers during this? Shouldn't half this team be with them?

Maybe the team is gone, or the current roster inactive, post-Secret War :ack:?
